Chapter 5

•Bailey•

I woke up with a smile on my face, remembering the date that I have tonight. I ran downstairs to see my brother (technically step brother but who cares) Jack Johnson sitting on the couch.

"Jack jack jack guess what!!!" I said jumping on the couch beside him.

"Woah woah someone's happy. What!!! What is it!!!"

"I have a date with SHAWN MENDES tonight!!!!" I screamed because I'm really happy.

"Wow that's great!"

"I know I know." I winked and went to my room laughing and I heard jack laugh at me as I went in my room.

I grabbed my laptop and got on Twitter. So many people have liked and retweeted my tweet about Shawn. There were of course some hate messages like "Ew she's ugly why did Shawn retweet that!?" But there was more positive than negative, which is a good thing.

I stayed on Twitter for like 2 hours straight and realized it was 3:00 in the afternoon. I went out to get some food at Taco Bell and picked up some for jack because I knew he would want some. I handed jack his food and ate mine.

It was now 4:30 so I went upstairs and took a shower. I was I there for about an hour. When I got out I dried my hair and left in my natural wave because it looked good.

I went to my closet and put on a shirt that said "Only go where there's good vibes." ,I put on some ripped jeans and my white converse. I then did my make up. A little bit of concealer and foundation, then some mascara and eye liner.

By the time I was ready it was 6:15, so I went downstairs and sat on the couch with Johnson and Gilinsky. He must've came over while I was getting ready.

"Why are you dressed up Bai? Hmmmmm? You're usually in your pjs right now." Gilinsky said to me.

"I know, but actually I have a date with Shawn!"

"Awesome!! I hope you have fun."

"Thanks, mind if I sit? Shawn won't be here until 7." I said.

He patted the seat beside him and I say and watched Family Guy with them. I watch a couple episodes and then I heard a knock on the door.

I run to the door grabbing my stuff on the way and open it to see a very handsome, brown eyed Shawn.

"Hey Bai!! & hello jacks!"

"Hey Shawn!" I said

"Sup Shawn" they both said at the same time.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yep!! Let's go, let me grab my jacket first."

"I have a sweatshirt in the car you can use, let's go so we're not late!"

"Okay, bye guyss!" I said to the jacks.

We drive to the movies and we end up seeing Inside Out just to act like little kids again.

Half way into the movie

Shawn and I are the only ones in the theater and we started talking. I tell him I'm cold and he gave me his sweatshirt and pulled me into his lap. We end up cuddling and by the end of the movie we end up making out.

Lmao.

The movie was over and I barely saw any of it, but hey, I'm not complaining!

We go to the car and start talking.

"Thanks for tonight. I had a lot of fun. I haven't been out with any one in a while so thanks again." I say blushing.

"You're welcome Bailey." I intertwine my hand in hers and then kiss the back of her hand.

She blushes even more and looks down.

"I really like you."

"I really like you to Shawn." She says smiling like crazy.

"Would you like to go on another date sometime and maybe... make things more official....?" I say to her with a shaky voice.

"Y-yeah, I'd love to Shawn!" She says happily.

"Great!" I smile. "I pull into her driveway and walk her to her front door.

"I'll call you tomorrow." I say to her.

"O-okay. Thank you for tonight, again." She said and looked down and our hands intertwined together.

"Don't worry about it bai."

I can see her smile with her head down and lift her chin up so her eyes are locked with mine.

We stare into each others eyes for a second and then I finally lean down and kiss her.

It was magical, I've never felt this way about anyone before. I think I may be falling for a girl I just met, even though it feels like I've known her for years.

I break away from the kiss and look at her again.

"Goodnight beautiful."

"Goodnight Shawn."

Shawn and I are staring to each other's eyes while standing on my front porch. then he leans in a crashes his lips into mine.

It was wonderful. I've feel so happy with him, and I haven't felt that in a while. I really really like him. I wonder if he feels the same way.

We break away from the kiss And just stare at each other for a few seconds.

"Goodnight beautiful." He says to me and I blush, again.

"Goodnight Shawn."

I walk in my house and run up to my room and scream in a pillow.

I go on Twitter and post: "Tonight was the best night I've had in a while. ❤️❤️ all the love, bai." And Shawn liked it right after.

I fall asleep while playing the night on replay in my head and just thinking of how amazing Shawn is.
