But Then I Met Him

With the Corporal

As I prepared my uniform for the mission, I started thinking to myself about how strange it was that Levi had assigned me to him out of the blue.

But I had more important things to attend to. This was important to me, and I really wanted to leave a good impression on Levi.

As I left my room and went into the stables, Levi was there with his horse waiting for me.
"You're late again. Tch, brat."
I didn't know what to say, so I just said, "I'm sorry," and got on the horse. "Whatever. Let's go." I shook off the harsh answer of the captain and we proceeded to start moving.

Okay, I have no idea where Levi's taking me.

"Captain, where are we going? We've been moving for at least two hours and we've done nothing. Wasn't this a mission?"
"Tch, don't be so impatient. We'll be there soon."
We finally arrived to the spot for the mission, but there were no titans. Not anything in sight. Just a huge plain hill. Levi sat down, and then he nudged me to sit down as well.

What was going on here..

"Eren, I have something to tell you.
This wasn't a mission. I lied. It was probably obvious, but I apologize for that..this was just my way of...asking you out," the captain said as his face started getting pink.

Oh my god. This was a date. This IS a date. What do I even say?

I felt heat rising to my cheeks as my face turned red.

"Eren, I like you. That's why I did this whole thing."
I was filled with an immense amount of happiness.

"I like you too..Levi." I noticed Levi's eyes lit up as I replied.

We didn't know what to do, so Levi leaned in closer.

He hugged me. We were hugging.

We stared at eachother not knowing what to do. I smiled at Levi trying to start something, and Levi blushed and tried to look away.

He looked back and we leaned our faces closer together.

And we kissed.

We seperated and smiled at eachother, and started getting up and got on the horse, and went home.

Everything felt like a dream after that.
