Lessons went past and then I knew it was lunch time. Oh how I love food! But when you’re a model, it’s not good. Every fashion shoot or catwalk I had been to models had to eat little to nothing. So whenever I got the chance to eat, I would pig-out. I walked into the cafeteria observing the food; everything was both fatty and not suitable for vegetarians, so I just grabbed an apple. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t starve myself, but I have to watch my weight, even if I gain one pound, Melinda; my manager would be on my back.

I paid for my apple and saw Tom waving me over to his table at the back. I looked at the groups; Goths/emos, jocks, popular and the stereotypical crap. I spotted Jace on the popular table. No surprise there.  There was Adam also. 4 boys I didn’t recognize and 3 girls. Great, now I have to walk past these snobs to get to Tom’s table.

I sighed, and walked smiling across at Tom. I felt people staring at me. But I didn’t let it faze me. As I was midway, I heard Jace call my name. I turned and smiled at my brother.

‘Care to join, sis?’ he said smiling, bless him looking out for me.

I looked around at his table indicating I’d rather not. ‘No; it’s fine’.

‘Come on; just sit, one minute please.’ I sighed, one minute I said.

I sat down and the table was just looking at my apple. ‘What? I don’t trust the food here, it could be infested’. I shrugged off.

A blonde cheerleader walked up and put her hands on my brother’s shoulder and started whispering stuff. I looked at the slut in disgust. I hope one day he finds a nice girl. My brother obviously liked the attention because he was smirking.

I looked at my diamond watch which cost £45,000. My father had brought it for me.

’40 more seconds to go’, I said looking up at the people on the table, smiling. I might as-well be a little bit polite.

‘Yes, like I was saying, my dad is like being a dickhead, he’s giving me a curfew, like from 1:00am. I mean who parties that early and leaves home’. I couldn’t help but snort. I looked at her, the girl, she was pretty but tarty. I recognized her from class; I think her name was Megan. She looked at me ‘what?’ she said this in an aggressive tone.

 ‘Nothing’, I said innocently.

‘Yes, you have a problem with everyone; remember when you called Hailey – redhead – a skank. She ignored you ‘cause she was being mature and now you act like you’re the queen, as you have entered the school, thinking every boy was under your slutty finger. Because Jason (Jace, nickname Jess calls him) is your big brother doesn’t mean you are special’. Megan huffed. The guys on the table looked a little take back.  Haha, who was this girl kidding. I couldn’t help but laugh.

‘Yes, I am slut; I’m slept with more guys than you’ve breathed’, I said this to Megan, she scowled. I bit into my apple and looked at her, giving her a death glare. I was going to come back with a retort, but I maintained myself.

‘Megan, that was out of or- ‘I stopped my brother midway.

‘It’s fine Jace, I’m a slut, I’ll keep saying until I believe it; let’s just hope Megan’s parents are proud of her, I mean she is obviously so intelligent, to not know her zipper is open, but that’s the new look hookers go for these days.’ I indicated to her front, she was wearing a tight denim skirt, with a zip. Who has a zip on a skirt?

Megan looked down and zipped it up, like nothing happened. I got up and walked off to Tom’s table. I met his friends; they were all so cute and friendly. There was Tom and Gary, the girl’s name was Cindy and we instantly hit it off, she was like a long lost sister! I couldn’t help but laugh these guys were so funny!

‘You single then?’ said Gary winking at me. I couldn’t help but smirk. He was cute, very. But he was more of a friend type. ‘I’m dating someone if that’s what you mean’, I looked at him. He seemed a little sad, but his smile brightened, when I looked at him. ‘Really what’s his name?’ urged Cindy.

‘His name is Alex’.  I said in a happy tone. I’ve been on 2 dates with him and both went well, but I didn’t feel anything; love grows right?’

‘Sounds hot’ replied Cindy. She was just like Amy always boy hunting! I could imagine them sniggering behind my back. I should invite them over. I’ve having my birthday party next Tuesday; maybe they can come over then. I’ll ask them, but not now. It’s too early.

‘He is.’ I smiled thinking of him. He was sweet. I hadn’t kissed him yet, I was waiting for him wait. Seeing how much he’d take it. It’s funny seeing him, looking annoyed, when I wouldn’t kiss him.

‘You guys want to come over after school?’ I said to the trio of my new friends. They agreed and I told them to wait upfront for my Bentley.

As we got up; some guy came over to me. I looked and smiled at him. In expected way, for him to continue; I wanted to go outside with my new friends. The sun was shining! You hardly see that in England.

‘Want to butter my croissant’, he said grinning. Bleugh, another guy who wants to get into my pants. I looked around to see the cafeteria’s attention on us. I looked at him sighing. 2 can play at this game. I looked down to see my brother with a very pissed off face, I winked at him. I stroked him arm slowly ‘How about chocolate? I mean it’s much more soft and creamy’ I said in a husky tone. I could practically feeling his heart beat faster. ‘Er-eer yes, whatever yo-ou like’, the poor lad stuttered. I made a sad face ‘oh, I’m a vegan. Chocolate contains milk; sorry’. I said looking at him; he looked a little shocked. Like I was going to get into bed with him. I’m still a virgin. I was a vegetarian not a vegan.

I looked at my brother and he grinned at me, I returned the grin; and stepped back, outside with my new friends.
