‘Hello, Amy are you okay?’

‘Hey! I’m fine. I was bored so I wanted to call.’

I glared at my teacher. Why would he make me answer my phone and put it on speaker? I realised the class were listening in. Great, note the sarcasm.

‘I’m in class’ I told her.

‘Is your teacher fit?’

I held my camera up and showed her.

‘Give him my number, Jess; he’s hot ... for an old man.’ She laughed at the last bit and I saw Mr. Stanford grinning.

‘Why are you wearing a bra on only?’ I saw her wearing it on through the video call.

‘You like? I found it in your wardrobe. I swear you its so good having a friend that has designer everything.’

‘I brought that for you, but obviously you were eager to wear it’ I laughed at this.

Typical of her to go though my things.

‘Yes, well lover boy is coming over tonight and he’s already sent you flowers, and loads of them. Each one has a message, this one says –

‘Amy!’ I shrieked.

‘Sorry! But think about it my unbioligical sister is going out with one of the sexiest models on Earth!’ She practically screamed this. I could imagine her jumping.

‘Freak’ I muttered.

‘You can wear this lacy bra I brought you, I’m sure he’d like that.’ How embarrassing now everyone will think I’m in it for the sex.

‘Yes right. I’m going in my pyjamas.’  I replied turning around looking at Adam. His face was unreadable but he smirked at me. The signature smirk.

‘Knowing you, you would. Remember back home, you used to be so lazy you would go to the pizza shop in your pyjamas.’ I laughed remembering that. It was true as well.

‘Amy, I’ll talk to you at home’

‘Drew’s here!’ Amy screamed as the I heard the door opened.

‘Sup beautiful.’ I heard Drew say.

‘Drew, please get her out of my room’ I groaned.

I heard Amy laugh and I guess he was carrying her.

‘Job done, you can thank me late. I hear Drew say.

‘I have to go, keep her out of trouble and no alcohol I mean it, Amy and you Drew, watch her’.

‘Jess, I am not drunk. I am so excited for your date’.

‘You go out with him then!’

‘I wish, he’s so into you.’ Thanks for letting me know Amy.

‘Bye Amy.’

‘Giver your teacher my num-’ I cut her off and sighed.

‘Sorry’ I looked at my teacher with an annoyed glare.

‘Its fine’, my teacher smiled. He added later quietly ‘she thought I was hot’.

I didn’t know what to say. I turned to the class and apologised for the phone call if it disrupt their learning and I sat back in my seat. Thinking how embarrassing and awkward that was.

I looked across at Adam and his face was in deep thought. I sank back in my seat. Just half an hour left...

‘Can I speak to you Jess and Adam’ said Mr. Stanford.

We waited for the class to depart before proceeding.  ‘I see you are good at Math and Adam, here, needs a tutor’.

What should I say? I can’t be rude. ‘I’ll help him.’ I smiled at both the teacher and student.

Adam started talking to him ‘tell mom I’m going to be late ‘cause I am studying tonight with someone’.

Mom? Oh it sums it up. Adam Stanford. They are both brothers!

‘I think Jess is busy tonight, little bro’. Said Mr. Stanford.

‘I’m studying with Megan tonight’ and he winked at his older brother.

I piped up. ‘I want to get some ground rules done. First off, my friends will always be there when we are studying, so don’t try anything. Secondly; I am giving up my time to help you. Thirdly; you turn up on time ready and equipped. Here’s my number and I’ll text you times.’ Adam just smirked at me.

He whipped out his phone and I put mine number in. He did vice versa.

‘See you, Mr. Stanford.’ I called out as I left.
