Finally the holidays began freeing me from my school but leaving with thoughts of it that ate me away inside.
I had a good week before Christmas going out for days and meeting with family and friends. On Wednesday my family and I met up with my aunt, uncle & cousins. It was a fairly simple day out but was just what I had needed to take my mind of things. Before I knew it Christmas Day arrived and we sat opening presents. It was a lovely and relaxed morning which was followed by a good dinner. At around 4 we drove over to see my mums side of the family. We played family games and while everyone ate I sat with my 3 month old baby cousin who I absolutely love to pieces. I could have held her in my arms forever and just forgotten the world but it soon began getting late and people gradually stared to leave. We were last to go after the kids had been put to bed and we helped to clear up.
Christmas Day made me realise how lucky I am to have such a lovely family and the evening had been the best part.
That night I lay trying to sleep thinking about what I wanted in life. One thing I could confirm was I wanted a baby but first I wanted to live my life for a good 10 years yet. Although my school continued to play in the the back of my mind it was good knowing I had a great family and some amazing friends in and out of school as well as a very supportive teacher.
I now can't wait for 2016!!!
