Did This Really Happen To Me

The Day That Changed Everything.

I woke up the sun was shining though my colorful curtains. Shining right in my face. I groaned and rolled over.

"Tiffany get ur butt down here or you'll be late for school!" My mother shouted up the stairs.

I groaned but got up and changed. I put on some peach shorts and a gray shirt that said 'faith' in black letters. I put on my peach flats and went to put on my makeup.

I don't really wear that much makeup. I put on some foundation and mascara and went downstairs.

When i got down stairs my mom had a plate of pancakes for me.

"Thanks mom."

"Your welcome." she said sitting down in front of me to eat her stack of pancakes.

This is how it is every morning-me and mom eating breakfast alone. It's be like this for a while now. My dad left two years ago and no one knows where he is. I have no siblings, so mom can't get easily distracted form the situation we are in.

"Dasiy is here." I said quickly eating the rest of my pancakes.

"Bye. Have a good day! I love you!"

"Bye. I will. Love you too!" I said kissing her cheek.

"So how is Mr. Matt!" I said smiling.

"Good." she said less happier than i was.

"Just 'Good'"

"He'd be better if he knew who the fuck i am!"

"Haha."

It was the middle of third hour. The class was SO boring today!

"Miss. Brown can i please see Tiffany in the office." the intercom said.

I looked over at Kaitlyn and Dasiy. They looked as confused as i felt.

"Yes I'm sending her now." Miss. Brown said and looked at me. I got up and left.

As i was walking down the hallway i was thinking about what i could have done.

When i got in the office there was two police men and my principle.

"Miss. Brooks we have some unfortunate news." one of the police men said.

"I'm so sorry." my principe said.

I was getting nervous. I knew this wasn't about me anymore. I wish they would just say it already!

"Im so sorry miss but your mother was killed at your home this morning." the other police man said.
