Did This Really Happen To Me

Where To Go?

Is this a dream. I sure hope it is. How can such a beautiful day turn into one of my worst nightmares in 2 minutes.

"What" was all I could say. I mean I just lost the most important thing in my life.

"Im sorry I know this must be hard for you. Im letting you out for the rest of the day." my principle, Mr. Ian said.

"Well since you are out for the rest of the day you can come stay with us for today" one of the police men said.

"Thank you"

"By the way my name is Detective Barns and this is Detective Stone"

Barns is in his early 20's, has brown hair and blue eyes. Stone is in his early 30's, has blond hair and green eyes.

"Umm before we leave can I tell my friends what is going on."

"Yea. If it's ok with him" said Barns directing to Mr. Ian.

"I don't care"

"Thank you" I said before running down the hallway.

I tried opening the door but it was locked. I banged on the door until someone opened it.

"Im sorry Miss. Brown but i need Kaitlyn and Dasiy"

"I can't let them go without Mr.Ian's ok"

"I need Dasiy and Kaitlyn" Mr.Ian's voice sounded over the intercom.

I ran in got my things and left with Kaitlyn and Dasiy. We put our things in our lockers. I started tearing up thinkin about what Im about to tell them.

"What's going on?" Dasiy asked.

"Yeah your scaring us." Kaitlyn said worried.

"When your done come out to the car that's were we'll be" Barns said.

"Ok."

"Why are the police waiting on you?" Dasiy said.

"Guys my mom...." I started sobbing, "she..... died." I started balling.

"Oh my gosh!" Dasiy said pulling me into a hug.

"Im so sorry!" Kaitlyn said patting my back. They were both softly crying. I hated ruining their day like this but i had to tell them. I had to have somebody there.

"Ok i'll let you get back to class. I'll text you details later."

"Ok we'll be by our phones all day so call or text anytime. Idc if Im in the middle of class or not i want you to call." Dasiy said.

"Yea. We'll even run out of Mrs. Lee's class for you."Kaitlyn said.

"Haha. Thanks." Mrs. Lee is the meanest teacher we have. She is a pain in the butt.

They went back to class. I was going down the hall towards the door. I turn and looked at Miss. Brown's classroom. I hate to say this but i'd rather be at school with my friends than at a police station all alone.

I got into the police car. I don't really care about the people outside starring. They probably think that I was doing drugs or something, just like every teen nowadays. What they don't know is my life will never be the same again.

We got to the police station and they took me in to somebody's office.

"Well do you like my office" some lady said walking in.

"Yea it's.... cozy" It had tan walls and lots of quotes and pictures hanging on the walls.

"Good. Most people have problems with it." she sat down in her chair, "Don't ask me why but they do."

"Well we have to go so you are going to stay with Detective Ped." Barns said.

"Ok. Thank you both."

"Your welcome." Stone said.

"Ok so can tell me about your family?" she asked."Only if your ready."

"Umm... why."

"I just need to know were to send you, since your mother didn't put down another guardian." she said flipping though some papers.

"Umm. Well my dad left us a couple years ago. My dad's parents died. My mom's parents are in a nursing home in northern Missouri. I have no aunts, 1 uncle that is in jail, and my brother is the manager of a famous boyband."

"Well you have an interesting family. So i guess you only have two choices, your brother how old is he."

"I can also find your dad too. Ok let me make calls and i'll be back." She got up and left.

I'm so happy to see my brother again I haven't seen him in a year. He lookes just like me only his hair is a darker blond. He was there for me to cry on his shoulder when dad left.

I don't want her to call my dad because if there is a chance he took me in I don't think I can deal with seeing him everyday after.

"Umm. We just found out something about your dad." Ped walked in.
