'Hey' Connor walked quickly towards James, who had waited for the boy outside while he was stuck in detention.
'Finally! Did he call your parents?!' James saluted Connor and they started walking the way home.
'Luckily, no.' Connor smirked, facing James while the boy was eyeing him curious.
'Connor...'
'Yeah?' Connor noticed the confusion in James' voice and he started getting nervous.
'Why did you arrive late? I didn't see you at the cafeteria'
Connor went silent for a few seconds after answering.
'I-I was in the bath and I got distracted-'
'Oh man I DID NOT NEED TO KNOW THAT!' James shouted laughing, confusing Connor, when the younger boy realized the double meaning of his words.
'JAMES THATS NOT WHAT I MEAN' He blushed lightly 'I felt sick because of the chocolate I ate at the cafeteria and I threw up, that's all.'
James stopped laughing and flashed a comforting look to Connor.
'Hey, are you better now?'
'Yeah, im okay, thanks.' Connor shrugged, feeling pretty bad for lying to his friend.
The rest of the walk was calm as usual, both of the boys talking about school and boring clases and stuff.
When Connor arrived home, he quickly ran to his bedroom and put his phone in charge. He undressed while the phone was turning on. When he felt comfy, he settled himself on his bed and looked at his notifications.
A huge smile appeared on his face as he saw a text from an unknown number.
