A few hours had passed after breakfast; Kit had changed into a summer dress (a/n) above (e/a/n) to be a little more comfortable.
"Hey, sweetie!" Jace called to his little girl.
"Yes, daddy?"she walked in to the living room.
"You wanna go get ice cream?"
"YES" Kit squealed quietly.
"Let's go."
They went to an ice cream store and Kit sat happily eating her ice cream.
Shit. Jace thought, I have to go to my cousins' at 3. I forgot my phone... Oh a lady! I'll ask her!
"Excuse me do you have the time?" Jace asked with a smile.
"i have no watch...and no phone" she replied politely.
He noticed she had a small bump on her stomach presumably from a baby.
"That's ok. I see you're expecting?" he asked.
"Um yeah." She relied, placing her hands on her stomach, smiling.
"You're probably nervous don't worry having kids are a breeze. I have a daughter named Kit."
"Aw cute! How old is she?!"
"2. Do you want to see her?"
"Sure!"
"Ok. Kit come to Daddy!" Jace said, giggling.
Kit ran over in her sun dress.
"oh." then it clicked, "Ohhhhhhh."
"Hey I'm back- oh. Aren't you a little old for a dress like that?" A random man asked.
"I'm 2 years old!" Kit said, giggling.
"What?" he asked.
The woman whispered something in his ear and he said, "Ohhhhh!"
"Hi there! I'm Xander this is my wife, Kylie." Xander smiled.
Jace shook his and Kylie's hands, "I'm Jace, this is my little, Kit."
Xander extended his hand to Kit, "Nice to meet you."
Kit ran behind Jace, "AHHHH! DADDY!" she screamed.
"Inside voice, sweetie. Again, I'm not afraid to punish in public."
"Oh GOD Please no!" Xander yelled.
"Haha." Kylie laughed, "Kit, buddy, come here. I wanna say hi."
They two couples talked for a while and Jace realized they needed to go. NOW!
"Till Next time guys." Jace smiled, grabbing Kit's hand, "We gotta go to my cousin's house."
"Alright. We'll see you later. Bye Kit." Kylie smiled.
"Bye Ky-Ky! Bye Xander!" Kit giggled.
"Come on, Kit." Jace laughed, lifting Kit to his hip.
