After Danny and I kissed, we sang some more songs until Paul called to tell us he was coming home.
I hope I got to be alone with Paul soon so I could ask him about the girl. Was she his girlfriend. Who was she? I had so many questions.
About 8 minutes after he called, Paul was back home.
It was also 7 o'clock
P.M.
he left this morning.
what the hell Paul!?
"Hey Paul!" Danny said when he opened the door.
"Hi." he said back
"hello." I said
no answer.
that's okay, maybe he didn't hear me or something.
"So how was your day?" I asked
"it was good." he said paying me no mind.
"How was your date.." Danny said in a sly voice
"It was good. She's really nice, but it wasn't really a "date" " Paul said laughing
Was Paul ignoring me?
" Hey Danny I ordered pizza, but it needs picked up, cause they don't deliver.. Could you go get it?" Paul asked
"Sure! I haven't gotten out of this house all day." Danny said smiling
He gave me a hug, said bye and then Danny was off to get the pizza.
Then it was just Paul and I.
Oh.
"Paul?" I asked
no answer.
"Paul please answer me.. why are you ignoring me?" I said on the verge of tears.
"I.." was the only thing he could say
"you what?" I asked walking toward him
"I realized something.." he said
"what?"
"I went on a date today.."
"I thought you said it wasn't a date."
"that's besides the point Harmony.. I went on a date today with a girl who I've known for a little while.. I thought maybe I could start seeing her more and maybe she could be my girlfriend.."
I don't like where this is going.
"Oh" was all I could say
"But today.. it seemed different with her.."
what?
"I would look at her and all I could think about was you Harmony.. I didn't think I liked you that much, but I guess I did." he said
Well that was unexpected.
"But you spent the whole day with her Paul, that has to mean something right?" I said
"I hung out with her for an hour, when I realized I liked you a lot. So I spent the rest of the day talking to her.."
"about what?"
"You. I asked her advice on how I should treat a girl. How I should talk to a girl. She understood that I liked you.. She's like a second best friend you know?"
"Well then why did you ignore me when you came home?"
"I couldn't exactly tell you all this in front of Danny."
