Chapter 9

Living with Paul and Danny is a dream. I'm so glad that I paid extra to sty longer. Money well spent.

After new years day, Paul applied for a job. Today he got a call that he was accepted.

I laughed at the thought. Not to be mean, but I don't think I could take Paul seriously in a work outfit.

"So where are you working?" I asked him

"Pizza but delivery." He replied

Of course he would.

"Well have fun on your first day. When will you be home?" Danny asked

"Towards evening. I got to go guys, bye!" He said waking out the apartment door

"Bye!" Danny and I said

"So what are we gonna do?" Danny asked

"I thought maybe we could bake a cake." I said

"What?"

"We can bake a cake together, it'd be fun!"

Danny looked skeptical, but he soon smiled and said," sounds great Harmony. " and he kissed the top of my head.

"Yay let's get started!" I said

I went over to the kitchen and looked through the cabinets.

"Danny!?" I said

"Yes." He said

"The cabinets are empty, so we'll have to go shopping." I said

"But Paul took the car."

"Oh my gosh! Yes he did.. How far away is the nearest grocery store?"

"Not too far, why?"

"Wanna go for a walk, Danny?"

"For a cake?"

"Sure why not?" I said smiling

"Okay let's go then."

Danny held open the apartment door for me and we walked outside. The streets were busy with cars and other people. The air was nice and fresh. It was a little chilly since it was still winter, but I didn't mind.

"Is that it?" I asked Danny as we approached what looked like a grocery store.

"Yeah." He said

We walked in and instantly went to the baking section.

We bought eggs, milk, butter, chocolate cake mix, frosting, and sprinkles.

"See I told you it wouldn't be so bad." I said

"Yeah I guess you're right." He said smiling.

Then a random girl who looked about 17 years old came to us and started freaking out.

"OH MY GOSH DANNY EDGE!!!" she screamed

"Yes, I'm Danny. What's your name?" Danny said awkwardly. He was really shy when it came to new people

" my name's Kara!! Oh my gosh Danny I love you! Where's Paul!?"

"He's at home."

Smart. Don't tell the crazy fangirl that Paul works or else pizza hut will be packed.

"Oh okay, well can I get a picture!?"

"Sure thing."

They took a few selfies before Kara had to go.

"It was nice meeting you!" Danny said smiling

"You too! Bye Danny I love you!"

And like that, she was gone.

Danny and I walked all the way back to our apartment and started making the cake.

I mixed the batter together while Danny preheated the oven. It was all going fine until Danny thought it'd be fun to take a spoonful of batter and fling it at me.

"DANNY!" I yelled

He just laughed and did it again.

"We won't have anymore for the cake!" I said

"Oh come on Harmony! I'm having fun aren't you?" He said. His blue eyes lighting up when he said my name.

"I'd be having a lot more fun if YOU were the one getting messy!" I aid flinging batter at him.

So we just laughed and there chocolate cake batter at each other until there was almost no more left.

"Aww.. Danny.. Now well never be able to taste thee cake.." I said

"I know a way we can." He said

"What do you mean?"

He stared intently at my lips and came closer to me until we were face to face.

"You have some on your lips." He said

And then he leaned in and kissed me. The kiss was sweet. Literally. I could taste the chocolate batter while Danny slowly kissed me deeper. It seemed like we kissed for hours, but at the same time only seconds. Every time I thought he'd pull away, he'd press deeper into the kiss. We kept this going on until the stove beeped telling us that it was preheated for the cake we'd never bake.

"We better clean up before Paul comes home" Danny said.

"Yeah" I said

We had spent the whole day trying to cook that I forgot Paul was coming home tonight.

We cleaned up quickly and quietly, making sure that all the batter was wiped up.

Afterwards, we sat down on the couch and mixed the sprinkles and frosting together as ate that.

"I had fun today, Harmony." Danny said

"The days not over yet." I said, taking his hand and kissing his cheek.

He smiled and turned his eyes to the TV. We watched about 3 episodes of American Horror Story before Paul came home.

"How was your first day of work Paul?" I asked

"They fired me." He said

"What? Why?" Danny said

"Some potatoes found me and told more potatoes, so I got swarmed."

"Just because of fans!?" Danny said starting to get upset.

"Well that, and that I'm not very good at the job."

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I kept eating the pizzas before they could be delivered."

Then we laughed, because I knew Paul would do something like that.

"Here come watch American Horror Story with us." Danny said

"Okay." Paul said and he sat down next to me.

We watched TV until it was midnight. And I was tired.

"I'm gonna go to bed guys." I said yawning

"Okay goodnight Harmony." Paul said, his eyes glued to the TV.

"Goodnight." Danny said.

I went to my apartment room and felt too lazy to get actual pajamas on, so I just took off my pants. I started to drift off to sleep when I heard a knock at the door.

I got up and answered it. There I was welcomed by a bright blue eyed Danny.

"You forgot your phone Harmony." Danny said handing me my phone .

"Oh thank you " I said grabbing it.

"Oh and this." He said giving me a kiss.

I smiled.

"Goodnight Harmony."

"Goodnight Danny."
