Eggs and Bakey

"C'mon Nate, time to wakey wakey eggs and bakey," Rose told her stirring brother.

"Ughh.. I'm a vegetarian..." Nathan said trying to get comfortable in the hospital bed.

"Wakey wakey vegetables and sadness." Rose said to her brother once his eyes were open.

"Gee thanks. How long have I been out? What even happened?" Asked Nathan.

"Ya almost died. They got ya back. I don't even know how you lived because you were so close to death. I'm suprised you don't have brain damage. You probably do and that's why you're so dumb. " Rose said as she pushed the button by her brother's bed.

"Why'd you push that?" Nathan asked.

"Your doctor wanted me to tell him when you're awake." Rose said.

About 2 minutes later

"Hello! I see someone's finally awake! I'm doctor Harvey" Nathans doctor said with a smile.

"So I bet your sister told you everything that happened and the complications.." Harvey said with a sigh.

"Yep.." Nathan said, feeling awkward with the silence.

"Rose if you could just step outside for a few minutes, I have to check and make sure everything's going well." Harvey said with a polite smile.

"Sure." Rose said as she walked out of the room.

About 5 minutes later

"Everything's like it should be! No brain damage and you're on the road to recovery. We'll keep you here for a week or so and then you'll be good to go!" Harvey said as he beckoned Rose back into the room.

"Great, thanks!" Both Rose and Nathan said at the same time.

The doctor then smiled and left.

"Yeah once you're in the clear, we're leaving. Can't afford the bill." Rose said with a sigh.

"Yep. I know." Nathan replied.

"Do you remember anything that happened?"

"I.. I do.. actually..." Nathan said with a swallow.

"What do you remember?" Rose said with a questioning look.

"I could see myself being operated on. Then a guy named Onyx came and talked to me about what was happening. He was real and fake, I was in a limbo. He was a sort of dragon wolf thing that could talk and stand on two legs, he had a red bowtie also... I was gonna die and he shoved me back into my body." Nathan said.

"Is he evil?? Or??" Rose asked.

"No, he's good. He helped me and genuinely cared about me. Like I was his responsibility. "

"Then if you're in the real world, he probably is too.."
