Spooky snake lady

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for not updating last week :0 i just am really busy with school and sports. I'll try and upload at least weekly if I can!

"Help with what?" Rose asked.

"Basically to keep the world from having a freaking monster apocalypse ruled by a psychotic snake lady." Onyx said unemotionally, Drax elbowed him in the arm.

"Well that's a crummy juncture ain't it." Nathan said, looking down at his feet.

"Uhhh... I guess we'll help if there's no other choice."

"WE?!?" Nathan yelled, but the three others ignored him and kept talking.

"So who's this big psychotic snake lady you're talking about? Rose said, lifting an eyebrow.

"About 9 and a half feet tall. Ruler of all unhuman creatures, but not regular animals. Scary as hell. Mean as hell. Hell. 'Her' name is Kris, probably short for some demonic chant or somethin'. I wouldn't doubt it." Onyx said. You could hear traces of a southern accent in his voice.

"Basically what he said." Drax yawned.

"So... How can we help?" Rose asked.

"Again with the 'we'..." Nathan muttered grumpily to himself.

"You're 15, what you say isn't valid until you're 18." Rose scolded, apparently hearing his mutterings.

"Well.." Drax said, looking from the two silbings bickering to Rose's blade, "that blade you've got there could be a big help. Also apparently you're 'chosen' because of reasons that I dont really want to go into depth of right now.

"Oh... I'm gonna help you guys but you can't touch my knife. Also one last question.. How did you find us?" Rose asked.

"Instagram location. Turn it off by the way." Onyx said. Drax elbowed him in the ribs.

"You have instagram?" Nathan asked.

"Nooo..." Onyx muttered, looking away.

"You totally do, don't lie." Nathan snickered.

Onyx didn't reply.

"Okay... Changing the subject... Can you both pack what you need in a duffle or something quickly? We kinda need to leave soon. They're probably searching for us.." Drax said. Itching the back of his own neck and looking around skeptically.

"What did you do that she would be looking for you?" Rose asked, smiling a bit. Drax didn't answer and just stared at the floor while Onyx was messing with his claws looking embarassed.

"Tough crowd." Nathan said, and Rose just shoved him jokingly.

"Kinda pissed Kris off and ran." Drax said, blushing a bit, while Onyx kept acting like he wasn't listening.

Rose and Nathan laughed.
