Chapter 1: Love at first sight

Trisha's POV:
It is morning, waking up to a Monday. I get up quickly to get dressed for school. "Hmmm....what to wear today". I pick out a white polo t-shirt with long kakis and my white low top converse. I quickly run to the bathroom." How about loose curls?" I said while I look at myself in the mirror. I get done and grab my black beanie that says "dope" on it. I live alone so I do not have anyone that I can say good morning to. My phone buzzes, it was a text from my best friend Jade:

Jade: Heeeeyyyy :-)

Me: Hi

Jade: Are you ready to go to school? Cuz bruh, I am so TURNT UP RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Me: Yeah, I'm just eating breakfast right now I'll be on my way...

Jade: kk ya!!

I put my phone down so I could eat my breakfast. I always had a Jimmy Dean's breakfast bowl with apple juice. It was 8:15, I was late for school. I always end up getting a ride from Jade, but she did not come today so i have to walk by myself. "Hey Trish!" said a manly voice. "Oh, hey Travis how are you?" Travis is a really good friend of mine too, but I kinda known him longer. "You can't be walking all by yourself, let me walk with you". I started to blush a little(even though I'm black). So we walked to school together.

As Travis and I walked inside the school building, all we see is a bunch of sceaming girls crowding around a locker that is right next to mine, I went to go investigate on what was going on. "Omg, i love you!" one of the like 20 girls said. "Umm...excuse me...coming through!" I said angrily pushing all the screaming girls. One the girls gave me a dirty look and went back to screaming for a boy name Luke. I was opening my locker until a bunch of crowding girls pushed me over. "Oh gosh, are you okay?" said Travis running towards me pulling out his hand for me to reach. "I'm fine... There are a bunch of girls crowding a boy near my locker. I turned around to see a blue eyed hunk of meat, he's hot. He started to approach me. "Hey, so sorry about that I got a bunch attention from those girls, my name is Luke Hemmings, yours?" I just stood there with a "love at first sight" look on my face, but i snapped out of it. "Trisha, Trisha Jones." I said looking down at my shoes. He gives me a small smile, but all of a sudden he starts to bite his lip ring, then I looked away. "Well see ya later, Trisha." I felt alittle excited inside, but I never show on the outside, I keep it cool. I thought to myself that I think met someone who will be able to love me for me.
