Chapter 3

The night still went on as they slept peacefully. One of them stirred as the sounds of the doors awoken. The one awake blinked the tiredness away. "H-hey, what's going on, Ary Beary someone's coming." Josey said nudging Ary Beary. "Hmm?" Ary Beary asked opening her eyes. Josey pointed out to the curtains. Ary Beary squinted her eyes to look at the figure. Ary Beary crawled over to the curtains and peeked outside to look at the figure walking up to the stage. What she saw made her eyes widen in fear. Ary Beary scurried quickly back to where she saw. "Ary Bea-" Josey tried to say. Ary Beary covered Josey's mouth and told her to pretend to sleep. Josey did as she was told and pretended to sleep. Ary Beary laid her back against the wall and pretended to sleep. The sound of the curtains opening made her more frightened. "Ah, I see you all are still together, now let's see, which one of you should I, mess with?" A deep voice asked himself. Ary Beary could feel his gaze onto her. "The leader, a good one to choose if I say so myself." He said. Ary Beary could feel him walk up to her. The mysterious man leaned Ary Beary forward before opening something on her head. Ary Beary could feel him tamper with her wires before he closed whatever he opened on her head. He soon leaned her back against the wall and stood up. Before he left he looked back to the group before chuckling wickedly and darkly. "Look at all of you. Together, just like all that time ago." He said before soon leaving. When Ary Beary heard the door close and lock she opened her eyes. Josey looked at Ary Beary with wide eyes. "W-was that...?" Josey asked. Ary Beary slowly nodded with widen eyes. "J-Josey, go back to sleep, we'll worry about this in the morning, alright?" Ary Beary asked. Josey was about protest, but she was too tired and soon fell asleep. Ary Beary held a hand up to her head. 'What did he do to me?' She wondered. Ary Beary took a deep breath in before falling back asleep. Once the morning came, everyone began to awoken from their slumber. They all stirred as they all opened their eyes. As they awoke, Ary Beary and Josey looked at each other with fear. "What's wrong? You two look like you saw a ghost or something." Strike said. Ary Beary opened her mouth, but it only came out as a whimper. "Ary Beary are you okay?" Mary asked with concern. "Did something happen last night while we were asleep?" Daniel asked. Josey opened her mouth. "H-he came here, last night." Josey said. Everyone gasped with fright and shock. "W-what was he doing?" Prony asked. Ary Beary looked up to everyone. "He, was looking for us, he was choosing who to, mess with." Ary Beary said. "Who did he choose, why was he choosing?" Cammy asked. "He chose me, but I don't know why, but he did something to me." Ary Beary said. "How do you feel now?" BubbleJam asked. "O-okay, I guess." Ary Beary said. "Should we tell Miss Beary?" Josey asked. "We can tell her we had a break in, that the person who broke in tampered with Ary Beary's circuits, maybe she could do something." Strike said. Just as he said that, Miss Beary opened the door. "Good morning everyone, how did you all rest?" She asked. Ary Beary stepped forward. "Miss Beary, we had a break in." Ary Beary said. Miss Beary looked with concern. "Is everyone alright?" Miss Beary asked. "Yes, but someone tampered with Ary Beary's circuits." Strike said. "Oh, well, I will call an engineer to check on you, and to make sure this won't happen again, I will have a night guard watch the pizzeria while I'm gone, I can't risk another animatronic tampered with, is that clear?" Miss Beary asked. "Yes Miss Beary." They all said. Miss Beary nodded. "I will be going, but two people will come, the engineer, and the night guard, I'll see you before twelve." Miss Beary said. Miss Beary turned and walked out of the pizzeria after closing the door, leaving it unlocked. Ary Beary looked looked to everyone. "Alright, when the engineer and night guard arrive, let's be on our best behaviors." Ary Beary said. Everyone nodded. "Are you sure you're okay?" Strike asked. Ary Beary nodded. "I'll be fine, now let's get ready, they'll probably arrive soon." Ary Beary said. Everyone went to their separate ways. Strike lightly grabbed Ary Beary's hand, stopping her from walking. Ary Beary looked back to Strike. "If anything bothers you, let me know okay?" Strike asked. Ary Beary blushed a little before nodding. Strike nodded before letting go and leaving to his station.
