Brooke left me alone, with her dad and mine. I smiled nervously as I looked at them from across the coffee table. We sat in silence for another few minutes, before my dad spoke.
"Son, Poseidon and I have been talking, and we both agree that we don't want Brooke raising our grandchildren without being married." He said.
"What are you saying?" I asked, scared out of my mind.
"We want you to marry Brooke," Poseidon said. I started having a minor panic attack.
"We will provide the ring and pay for the wedding," dad added like it would calm me down.
"B-but I've only known her since June," I responded. "We're not ready to get married! We've only been dating since August!" I squeezed my eyes shut. Calm down. You love her, you wanna marry her, you just aren't ready. I kept telling myself this. The truth is, I didn't want her to say no. I wanted everything to stay the same because I knew that where we were was good, and that she wouldn't leave me.
"Son, calm down." Dad said, placing a hand on my shoulder. I took a few deep breaths. I looked up at them and they looked at each other. Poseidon handed me a ring.
"Here's the ring, we would like to hear of your engagement within a week. Tootles!" Poseidon said and flashed out. Dad rolled his eyes and flashed out too. I looked at the ring. It was black with small diamonds all around it and a blue diamond in the middle. I smiled at it. I heard the door open and I hid the ring in my pocket.
"They cancelled, something about Annabeth and not wanting to go anywhere because she needed to pick out a wedding dress. She won't let anyone help. I love weddings. I hope to have one of my own someday." Brooke said, walking in and sitting next to me on the couch.
"About that. I have something to ask you." I turned to Brooke. I gulped and looked in her eyes. I got off of the couch and knelt down in front of her. I pulled out the ring and showed it to her. She didn't say anything, just stared at me. "Brooklyn Olivia Jackson, will you marry me?" I asked her. She kept opening her mouth, only to close it again. I got up off of the floor and ran a hand through my hair. "Never mind. Forget I asked. I'm such an idiot. We haven't even known each other for a year and I'm asking you to marry me. I'm loosing my mind. I just made our entire relationship awkward. I'm sorry. I'm so stupid. Idiot, idiot, IDIOT! Ugh! I'm so stupid. I'm sor-" I was cut off by lips smashing into mine.
"You're only an idiot because you started freaking out and wouldn't give me a chance to say yes." She said.
"Sorry I was freaking out. I am an idiot. I'm so stupid." I hit my self in the forehead a few times with my palm. "Wait.... Did you say, yes?" I looked at the woman I love, the woman carrying my children. She nodded and I pulled her into a hug.
I pulled away and used my hand to tilt her head up. I smashed my lips into her and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around her waist. I leaned into the kiss, forcing her to lean back. I licked her bottom lip and she gladly opened her mouth. I plunged my tongue into her mouth and explored every inch. I pulled back from the kiss and trailed kissed across her jaw, to the bottom of her ear. I kissed down her neck to the soft spot between her shoulders and her neck. She let out a small moan when I kissed that spot. I scraped my teeth across that spot and she moaned loudly, gripping my hair. I sucked on the skin right there, causing her to sigh. I smiled into her neck and she lifted my head. She smashed her lips against me. She twisted her fingers into my hair causing me to gasp slightly, giving her the opportunity to slip her tongue into my mouth, exploring every inch. I sat down on the couch so that she had to lean over slightly to kiss me. She straddled me and started to take off my shirt.
I broke from the kiss for a second and grabbed her thighs. I stood up, holding her to me, and walked to the bedroom. I opened the door, and kicked it shut behind me. I locked it and walked in the direction of the bed. I placed her on the bed and crawled on so that she was laying on her back. I sat over her, with one knee on each side of her thighs. She tugged at the bottom of my shirt and pulled it over my head, her hands tracing my abs and chest. Her hands slid down my chest and started tugging on my jeans. Dug my head into her neck, gnawing at her soft spot causing her to moan. I slid my hands up from her thighs and started pulling off her shirt. Once I got it off, I kissed her stomach and then left a trail of kisses from her belly button, up her chest, to her neck, then up her jaw to her mouth. I pulled down her sweatpants, and she had finally gotten my skinny jeans off of me. She started scooting away from me, towards the head of the bed and I followed. She got under the blankets and I did too. She smiled happily at me and I wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her close to me, and started working on her soft spot again. I lifted my head from her neck and kissed her roughly.
We kissed like this for another ten minutes before she pulled away. I frowned at her. She kissed the tip of my nose and laid on her back, looking up at the ring on her left hand. She smiled and her sea green eyes grew heavy. I kissed her forehead and pulled her close. She snuggled up against my chest and soon drifted off to sleep.
I'm engaged, I'm gonna have kids, and I'm in love.
Just a year ago, I was single and I was depressed. I was alone and I hated the world. But now, I couldn't be happier. I smiled as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up in my bra and underwear, curled up to Nico's bare chest. He was only in his boxers. I smiled and looked at my left hand. The ring was beautiful. I wanted to get married so bad, but I wanted to wait until after I had the babies and got back in shape, so my dress would be perfect, and so would my honeymoon. I smiled at the thought and looked at Nico just in time to see his eyes flutter open.
"Good morning, my beautiful fiance, and the mother of my children." He said with a sleepy voice, a very sexy voice. I smiled at him and he kissed the tip of my nose. I got up from the bed and went into the bathroom to shower. I looked into the mirror and saw my terrible hair. Note to self: get hair re-dyed. I turned on my iPod and got in the shower. I washed my hair and body. I shaved my legs and armpits.
I got out and applied a small amount of makeup. I put on concealer and foundation, along with mascara and eyeliner. I brushed my hair and blow dried it. I straightened it and put it in a pony tail. I turned off my music and tied my robe around me securely. I walked out of the bathroom and to the bedroom. Nico was laying with his face in the pillow, asleep. I shook my head, smiling, and went to my closet. I pulled out a pair of leggings and one of Nico's shirts. Nico's shirts were the perfect size to wear as maternity shirts since he was a foot and a half taller than me and quite built while I was petite. I took down my hair and let it fall over my shoulders. I slipped on my black flats and left a note for Nico to find when he wakes up. I grabbed my keys, phone, and wallet. I walked out the door and out of the apartment building. I got in my car and drove to the salon to fix my, now messy, dye job.
