Scarlet knew her power was more then just being able to read the symbols. She decided to get that off of her mind and focus on spending time with her mom. They continued to talk until that dreaded topic came up: Their Dad.
"Uh.. well.. lets no talk about your dad." Angela said like she was hiding something and Scarlet knew she was hiding something the moment her mom said it.
"Mom... tell us the truth of what happened to dad." Scarlet said sternly.. knowing heir mom left something out when she retold some of their past.
"Girls.. your dad made a deal with the man, aka, High Priest Zane. Your dad knew nothing of your powers, but only knew he gave them to you. Zane, told him he knew more and would tell him more if he gave you girls, to him. Before your dad made the deal, I told him everything I knew about your powers. Your dad refused and Zane raged. Zane first, killed your father then turned toward the village to get you." Angela explained, worried that Scarlet could tell she left out the part, why Zane wanted them.
"Mom, why does Zane want us." Scarlet asked.
"Your power. Together, you could save a whole village or destroy one. Zane wants to use that to his will an-"Angela was cut off by a deep voice.
"Thanks for telling me some of their past.." the deep unknown voice said, and Scarlet knew who it was and her anger started to raise.
Arabella was angry too. Angela knew what was coming and back away. Zane came threw the window as he broke it.
"Now, that i have you too I ca-" Zane was cut off by a deep growl and he looked at the twins only to see 2 big wolves bigger then the house and a huge hole in the ceiling.
Zane stared at them as one of the wolves put their paw on Zane trapping him and in a cloud of dust, Zane was no longer there and there was a pile of ashes. Two seconds later, Scarlet and Arabella are standing there looking at the ashes like nothing happened.
