Ch. 5

Eden's POV

When I woke up, a really bright light was shining in my face. I rolled over and saw my best friend James. "JAMES!!!" I screamed and ran to him to give him a hug. "Hey Eden. What are you doing here? You know that this is Haven, right?" He said. "I DIED?!" I asked. "OMG. This is awesome!! I don't have to deal with Jack anymore. I'm so happy." I told James.

I was wondering how I died so I asked James if I could see how I died. "Sure, but only if you want to." "I really want to. I wonder if I did it to myself." "Um... actually someone else did." James said. When I sat down, he started to 'touch' the air. After he 'touched' the last button, I saw Jack and I talking by the garage. The next thing I know, I see Jack's hands around my neck. He was saying something but I couldn't understand anything. Once I was laying on the ground, Jack kicked me twice in the ribs and punched me in the stomach. With my eyes wide and my mouth open, I said, "You are kidding me!? That's how I died??!" "Yeah, it was kinda sad when I saw it." James said to me. "Is there I could go back?" I asked him. "Actually, there is. Just go straight and turn a right when you see the three purple doors." He told me. "Ok. Thank you James. Love you bro😘." Once I got to the doors, I took a deep breathe and said to myself, "Here goes nothing."

When I opened the my eyes, I saw that I was at the hospital. I rolled over and looked at my phone. It was almost 4 and I had 7 missed calls from Johnson and 15 text messages from him also. I didn't feel like talking to people so I just texted him back saying that I was all right and not to worry. I got off my phone when I heard the door open. "Hello Ms. Gilinsky. I am Dr. Dolan and I am here to tell you that someone has signed you discharge papers and you are free to go home." "Um... May I ask who signed them?" I asked him. "He said was your brother. He goes by the name of Samuel Wilkinson. Do you know him?" "Yes that's my older brother." I told the doctor. "Ok and he brought you some changing clothes. I put then in the bathroom on the sink." Dr. Dolan said. "Thank you for your help Doctor." I said to him. "Your welcome, sweetheart. When ever you get ready to leave, just walk into the waiting room and your brother will be there." After the doctor told me that, he walked out of the room.

After I got dressed and got all of me belongings, I headed to the waiting room. As I was walking pass some other people rooms, I saw that they had their family in there with them. "I wish I had a family of my own. One that would love me for who I am and not treat me like I'm so kind of wild animal in a jungle." I said to myself before I walked into the waiting. As I was heading towards the exit, I saw Sammy. "Hey babygirl."
