Based off Halsey's song "Colors" and Troye Sivan's song "BLUE"
She was in love with a boy who didn't love himself. He was addicted to marijuana, he had so many family and childhood problems. Everything was blue when she was around him. His antidepressants that he refused to take were blue, his hands that were stained blue from something he never told her about, his jeans with holes in the knees were blue.
She was red, and he was blue. They were polar opposites. They both knew that they wouldn't work, and that's why she felt the need to be together with him. But purple didn't work for him.
Love is hard, and she knew that. He was high all the time, but at the same time, he was always low.
She was red, but she tried to color herself blue. Anything it took to make him stay, she would do it.
He only saw in black and white. She was the only pop of color he could've had, but he wouldn't let her suffer with him.
He wanted her to stay red, and he would stay blue. He knew purple wasn't for either of them.
