Calum's POV.

My alarm would not shut up. I hit the power button and sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. Today was the first day of Senior year and if I'm honest with you, I am not excited at all.

I got up, took a shower, and got dressed into my Blink-182 shirt and black skinny jeans. "Cal! Breakfast is ready!" my mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"Coming!" I said, while shutting my bedroom door. I walked downstairs to the dining table, where there was bacon and toast waiting for me.

I soon finished and put on my black converse. I grabbed my keys from the hook, kissed my mum on the head, "I'll be home right after school, bye mum, love you." I said, and walked out the door.
*at school*
I've been to 2 classes so far and I'm already done with this day. You see, I'm not the most outgoing person in this school. I mean I wish I could be, but I'm not. It sucks too because the girl I like is the most outgoing person ever.

Logan Smith, the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. The thing is though, is that she probably doesn't know I exist. Hell, I'm the shyest kid in the school, why would she want to know me.

Before I knew it the last bell rang. I have been waiting for that stupid thing to ring the whole day.

I went to my locker, got my keys and History book and walked to my car. Before I could open my car door I heard a voice calling my name.

"Calum, right?" I turned around and couldn't believe who it was, Logan.

"Uh, yeah, wha-what's up?" I say awkwardly.

"I was wondering if you could give me a ride home. My friend left already, so I kinda need a ride. If that's alright?" she asked.

"Uh-um yeah sure. Hop in." I tried to sound cool but I already knew it didn't work.

Logan got in on the other side. "So um, where do you live. So I can uh, take you home?"

"Oh! Sorry, I live about four blocks from here. It's on Landcaster drive, house 512." She said.

"Cool, I live a block away from you." I said to try and make conversation, which didn't really work because she was on her phone.

We drove for about 10 minutes until I parked in front of her house. She wasn't paying attention due to the fact she was still on her damn phone.

I clear my throat, "Um, we're here." I say to get her to notice.

"Oh! Thanks, Calum! I'll see you at school tomorrow. Bye!" when she said that my stomach filled with butterflies.
I just nodded my head and said bye.

I then drove to my house. I couldn't stop thinking about what she said. I'll see you tomorrow. I'll see you tomorrow. It just kept repeating in my head.
