Chapter 31

Once I had woken up I took a shower and got dressed. I picked some white high waisted jeans and a plain flowy mint crop top. I wear some mint flats. My hair was pulled up into a high pony tail. I walked down stairs and went to the kitchen.

"Daniella, I thought you should know that I'm going to talk to Jessie in an hour." My aunt said once I walked into the kitchen.
I just looked at her with out saying a word. I went to the fridge and grabbed the orange juice and a cup pouring myself the drink.
"I think it's best if you go." She added noticing my silence.
I just looked at her a shrugged. I didn't feel like talking to her. How can she not trust me. Luke and I were just watching a movie and lost track of time how can she possible think other wise.

"Listen Daniella, I am in charge and I demand that you talk to me." she said getting frustrated
"Okay, I'm going out." I said as I washed my cup.
"No you are not." She said
"Auntie calm down its just to go get the mail." I lied trying to calm her down.
"Oh." she said simply.
"Listen Auntie I'm sorry for ignoring you it's just I really love Luke and I don't want anything bad to happen between us. We honestly just lost track of time." I said
"I will think about it Daniella, just go get the mail." Auntie said looking away down at Zeus.
"We didn't do anything." I told her before I left to "get" the mail. I was actually going to meet up with Luke.

"Luke." I said as the elevator doors opened up revealing the lobby.
"Dani!" he said embracing me into a long hug.
"What do you think will happen?" i asked into Luke's chest.
"I don't know, but they need to know we didn't do anything." Luke answered burying his head into my neck
"Do you think they will trust us?" I asked pulling away from the hug
"Jessie does, what about Chesterfield?" he asked
"She is iffy. I keep telling her we didn't do anything. But she keeps pulling back and forward. One minute I think she believes me them the next she makes it seem like we did something wrong." I answered punning my face.
"Dani, it's going to be fine." Luke told me taking my hands in his leading me to the chairs they had in the lobby.

"Uhmm. Luke, Dani I'm sorry but Chesterfield just called and gave me orders to make sure the sea urchin wasn't near her niece. And if I'm correct Dani is her niece and the sea urchin is Luke." Tony said walking up to us.
"I guess that my cue to go." I said getting up
"Oh and here Dani. your aunt said you came down to get the mail." Tony said handing me her mail.
"Thanks tony." I smiled
"Tony make sure chesterfield doesn't know Dani and I met up here." Luke said whetting up standing next to me.
"I will Doorman's code." he nodded
"Thanks." Luke and I synced as we waked into the elevator.

"Daniella!" I heard my name being shouted as soon as the elevator doors opened.
I flinched as Luke held me close.
"What in the world are you doing." I heard the voice boom again
"Auntie I'm getting the mail and Luke was coming back from the park. We ran into each other." I explained we'll lied but for a good cause.Also known as my relationship cause.
"Yeah right. Do you think I was born yesterday?" My aunt asked
"Of course not." Luke answered
I nudged him on his side.
"Sorry." he mumbled
"I have strict orders not to see him." my aunt reminded
"I know but...". I said
"No buts. We are going to talk with Jessie right now." My aunt said grabbing both Luke's and my ears pulling us into the elevator.
She finally let us go once the doors closed.
"By the way here's your mail." I said handing her the mail.
"Here's your phone I deleted the boys number off of it." she said giving my phone back.
"Uhmm standing right here." Luke said
My auntie had us separated by sticking herself in the middle.
"Yuck!" my aunt spotted as she looked down on Luke
The rest of the ride up was silent.
As soon as the doors to the Ross penthouse opened my aunt dragged us inside.

"BESSIE!" My auntie screamed
"Seriously learn my name." Jessie said coming form the kitchen.
"Maybe she's to old to remember." Zuri joked
"Zuri." Jessie warned
"What we were all thinking it." Zuri said crossing her arms.
"I'm guessing we need to talk." Jessie said
"You guess right. Im done with your devil child dating my niece." My auntie said
"Don't you think that's up to them to decide?" Jessie pointed out
"What do they know about love?" my auntie questioned or more like stated
"Auntie all you have done was marry for money, never for love." I reminded
"But money is love." My auntie said looking down at me since she was wearing heels.
"If it helps, Luke is loaded with money." Jessie said
"Yep, trust fund recipient." Luke smiled proudly
"I don't care about that. I just love Luke for Luke." I said forgetting about the money.
"Daniella, your young I still have a lot of things to show you. Like picking a good boyfriend." My auntie scoffed

"That's it, I am done with you constantly picking on the Ross's. I have only known them for a short while and I know they are none of the things you say they are." I shot

"Dani, it's fine." Luke told me walking towards me.
"No, stay back." My aunt said
"Mrs.Chesterfield lets kept this between us and figure something out for the two of them." Jessie cut in.
"No, I want them broken up They obviously disobeyed the rules that we agreed on. Oh can't honestly believe they did "nothing" last night." My aunt said
"I actually do trust them. If they say nothing happened then nothing happened." Jessie said
"Thank you Jessie." I said
"I don't believe it for a second." She said
"We honestly did nothing. We just lost track of time." Luke said

I was hurt. How can my aunt not trust me. She honestly thinks that I am that stupid to just give myself away.How can she not trust me. Jessie trusts Luke and I.

"You know what hurts the most? The fact that my own Aunt doesn't trust me and is only caring about what she wants for me." I told her.

"Daniella I am caring for you. this Luke won't provide an amazing outstanding life for you. What do you see in his future. A trailer park? He's going to blow all his money the first time he receives it. The only reason he's not broke now is because his parents are doing all the work." my aunt said

"Stop, I see a lot of wonderful thing going to happen in Luke's life. He agog to be successful. and even if we don't have a lot of money. Either way I wi still love him, because he makes me really happy." I said looking at Luke who seemed hurt at my aunt's words.
"Yuck." She spat out
"I'm not going to let you break them up." Jessie told my aunt
"Either they break up or I move Daniella back home." My aunt threatened
"Auntie. that's not fair." I said
"You want to know what's not fair you disobeying me." She shot
"Fine you win." Luke said
"Luke?" I questioned shocked
"Daniella. Im sorry but I don't want you to go back home." Luke said looking at me with hurt eyes.
"So what we are done?" I asked
"Yeah, I think so." Luke said looking away.
"I guess we are." I said sadly
"Great, lets leave." My aunt said taking my arm
"Can I at least hug him goodbye, one last time?" I asked
"Fine." my aunt groaned

I ran to Luke and hugged him tightly. Luke wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his head into my neck, as I buried my head into his chest.
"Dani, I will see you a dance practice and at school. I might sneak onto your terrace too." Luke whispered in my ear.
"I will get your number back. Just message me on Facepage." I whispered back into his ear.
"I love you." Luke said looking at me.
"I love you too." I said
"Goodbye." Luke said kissing my forehead.
"Lets go." my aunt said dragging me away. "Point Rhoda." she said evilly.
