"Azarath" I was saddened by the way my planet looked. I was scared of what would happen to my team. But most of all I was overwhelmed with what would have to happen here today.

I looked back towards my friends and motioned for them to follow me. Garfield was holding me close to him as we walked towards the castle. I didn't mind, not one bit.

We got closer to the castle then I sensed something and froze where I was standing causing everyone else to stop as well.

"Rae what-" I cut Gar off and shushed everyone. Something was coming and I sensed it. Since this planet is mostly just darkness now I decided to use that to my advantage. I pushed my friends towards a broken building and told them to stay there. As for beast boy he wouldn't leave my side. I felt bad but I phased him over to the rest of our friends and made Cyborg and Robin hold him back. I waited for whatever creature it was to come out.

I whistled just to signify that someone is here and as soon as I did that creature came forward. It was the same as the creatures that attacked earth. I readied myself to lung at it when instead of it attacking me it stopped.

"What are you doing creature?" I looked at it curiously

It began to shake and split for a few seconds and inside of that creature was a person fighting against something holding it in. I gasped. No this wasn't suppose to happen

I watched as the creature closed again and the person was sucked back in.

"Your not creatures, your Azarathians" I tried to whisper it to myself but because of beast boys damn special hearing it wasn't kept quiet

"Their what?" Gar yelled and everyone was quiet. I hesitated before I decided they have to know.

I turned around to look at everyone. Then took a deep breath. "Those... Things aren't... Things their..." I paused for a second feeling a sense of shame for allowing this to happen. "Their Azarathians" I looked at the ground as I heard multiple gasps. Gar came up to me and pulled me into him. I clung onto him for dear life as tears flooded from my eyes.

"This wasn't supposed to happen. It wasn't supposed...." Beast boy held me tight as I cried hard

"Rae I'm here with you. You don't have to go through this alone. I will be by your side the whole time and we will get all of the Azarathians back" I nodded and looked up into beast boys eyes

"Let's keep moving" I got up and everyone followed.

"Hey Rae where are we heading?"

"We have to go to the entrance. It's a portal in the castle of Azarath that my father is going to use to come back through. We already took the girl from him but they only needed her for her powers and now that they have them they can perform the spell to bring him back. The spell takes a lot of power and that's what all of this is. These creatures are draining Azarath of its energy."

I lead them behind a building and had them hang low while a few of those dark creatures passed by. They stopped suddenly and glanced around. I held my breath as one of them glanced in my direction. They looked at me for a few seconds and then began to walk away. Once the coast was clear I signaled them to follow me. I told everyone to get low as we quickly ran towards the castle. At the castle doors I made everyone huddle around me on the side of one of the pillars.
