Dean's P.O.V.

I woke up to the sound of Sam singing in the shower and, yet again, the low drone of the television set -this time the local news.

Somehow I must have stumbled back to bed last night because I found myself tucked tightly under the motel comforter. After the hug I don't really remember what happened last night but I'm sure I probably just watched TV with Cas for a couple more hours then went to bed.

I got the headache I usually got after a night drinking so took a couple painkillers with the remnants of the soda from last night.

I heard the shower finish and Sam pull back the shower curtain then he unlocked the bathroom door, opened it and came out with the towel wrapped around his waist. He glanced at me, where I had sat back down on my bed.

'I see you haven't decided to get dressed yet.' he said before walking into the kitchen and opening the fridge, pondering over its contents.

I looked down to see myself just in my underwear and felt my face start burning red hot.

I quickly stood up and dug around in my duffel bag  before pulling out a new pair of underpants.

As I stripped the old pair off and put on a new pair I heard the TV turn off and the motel armchair creak as someone got out of it. I quickly turned around and saw Cas staring at me from the right of the chair.

I was left speechless as his eyes looked over my body before I suddenly managed to splutter out a 'Jesus Christ Cas look away!'. However as soon as I said it I sort of wished I hadn't. I pulled on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and looked back behind me to see Cas facing the wall, not daring to look back after what had just happened.

'Cas,' I said, 'You can look back now..'

He turned slowly and lifted his head to meet my gaze.

'I-I'm sorry Dean' He said, 'I don't really know what's acceptable anymore. It's been so long since I came down here that, well, I guess you could say that my people skills are a bit-uh-rusty.'

'Yeah no shit Sherlock' Sam said with a laugh as he entered the room with a glass of water in his hand. I had been so caught up in the moment that I didn't even hear the tap start running through the thin walls of our motel room. 'You can't just watch people Cas.' he continued, 'It's a bit creepy you know-and we deal with monsters!'

'Well I watched both of you sleep last night.' Cas said, 'Is it still creepy if you don't know?'

'Wait, Cas, you did what last night?!' I butted in, 'Hell yeah it's still creepy! What the heck man?!'

'Sorry Sam, sorry Dean. I-I honestly didn't know that there was anything wrong with it!' he spluttered obviously upset that we were angry at him.

I sighed, 'Look Cas, I-uh-We aren't angry at you.'

Sam shot me a glare from across the room.

'We understand that we are going to have to teach things but listen-don't watch people which they are getting changed or sleeping because its just plain creepy!'

Cas nodded to show his understanding and promptly um..disappeared?

I looked at Sam and he seemed just as shocked as I was.

'But-but where did he go?' questioned Sam, while I looked in front of the armchair, where he could've hidden.

But why would he just disappear?

Was it us?

Had we done something wrong?

I mean we did get a but angry with him but that couldn't have been enough for him to just get up and leave could it?

When Sam and I were sure that he wasn't just hiding in the room we checked out and drove to the nearest diner for some breakfast, parking the car outside.

Sam got out his laptop and began searching for our next job while I ordered two of the specials for us at the counter.

'Where to next brother?' I said before sitting opposite him and winking at the cute waitress as she walked past with some other customer's order.

'Well,' he began, 'There's this small town called Earle in Arkansas and there's been lost of missing people recently. Adults and children have just been disappearing with no evidence at all! It's mainly around the high school but there have been reports where people went missing around the Ruby Tuesday bar that's within a mile radius of the school. I have no idea what this could be Dean. Any ideas?'

'Missing people in our business generally mean dead people Sam. Maybe it's a couple of werewolves or a vampire colony I mean-'

I was cut off when the cute waitress cleared her throat to the right of me,

'Two specials? One with an orange soda one with water?'

She looked a bit confused and worried, probably due to hearing part of our conversation.

'Yeah, uh, that's us!' said Sam while I vigorously nodded my head and stared at the plate of food that was placed in front of me.

'Enjoy your meal!' she said as she walked away, eyeing us suspiciously.

I started to tuck in to the fry up when and when I looked up I saw him staring at the place next to me in the booth.

I swallowed and followed his gaze to my right.

Sat next to me was Castiel.
