Kenma's face turns a bright red as you compliment him. So red, in fact, that you wonder if he has ever been complimented before. "I still don't get it... You care about my safety because you think I have a cute tail and cute ears? There are plenty of other people that you probably also think have cute features... Why do you care about ME? We aren't even friends." Your brain fails to create an answer, since it is distracted by his voice. This is the most you have heard Kenma talk all year.
This is the first time you've truly heard his voice..
This is the first time you've heard him say something besides "hi Kuroo" or "ow" or "leave me alone."
"I-I-I..." You stammer, as your brain slowly starts to work again, "Y-You..."
"You two! Go to class! Didn't you hear the bell ring?" A random teacher hollers, making Kenma and you jump.
"I'll t-talk to you later," you squeak at Kenma, before hurrying to class. If you get ONE more detention your parents are going to ban you from watching anime for a week. FOR A WEEK! Talk about a cruel punishment...
