The fact that my brain was swarming with enough crap. Like rouge attacks , my mates life, and now I learn that it wasn't even her father. So, here I sit in the doctors office trying to dig up any information about Jason or Adrian.

" How does someone lose previous medical records?" I asked the old doctor who sat patiently at his desk.

"I suspect someone deleted or erased her previous records for a specific reason." I frowned.

"Why would they need to do that ?"

"Can't say for sure I know , but in many cases it's to hide from someone" he ran his hands over his face and sighed.

"If you find anything , alert me at once " he nodded.

"Have a good night William "

"Night Alpha" I left his office and made my way to my mate.

I watched her closely as I took a seat beside her. She looked peaceful and happy. The small smile that tugged on her lips and the small pieces of hair that framed her face. It was hard to think such a beautiful girl like that was a trained killer. To think she would easily have killed me without a thought. That's a scary though by itself.

Yawning I leaned back in the chair and found a comfortable spot. She stirred slightly in her sleep and mumbled. The first words I missed but the last ones I didn't.

".......... I love you Dylan " She rolled onto her side and fell back to sleep.

I felt something inside me flare. Rage maybe? I didn't know what it was ,but I wanted to find out who Dylan was. Possibly a brother or close friend.

I laid my head back and sighed. Letting my eyelids close.

I woke up to a brightly lite room and Adrian still fast asleep. I stood from my chair ;stretching the sore and aching muscles in my body. Then I headed to my room on the third floor, well the whole floor was mine. The pack house was simple. It consisted of three floors. the main floor being the kitchen and living space. With the extended hospital wing. The second floor was the rooms. Finally the third floor was all mine. Though it only had 12 bedrooms , the house was designed for the my higher ranked wolves and the Alphas family. The rest of the homes were scattered around the boundaries were each individuals family stayed.

Thinking of it I had already made my way to my room. The simple beige walls, the red colored sheets and comforter and the dark black dresser. Pulling open the drawers I pulled out a black t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

Once I was dressed I walked down the the kitchen and was meet with my younger brother.

"Good morning big bro" he was siting on the bar stool with toast.

"Anything interesting happen while I was gone ?" I asked and he smiled.

"With me in charge nothing happened, how'd the invading go?" he crammed the toast in his mouth.

"Well, we won after the alpha surrendered and I also brought back someone" I rubbed the back of my neck knowing once I told the twerp he wouldn't let it go.

"You the ruthless killer and annoying older brother brought back a person.... who is it anyways ?"

I ignored his question and started filling a tray with fruits and breakfast items. He came up behind me and pushed my shoulder.

"Come on man, tell me who it is " he crossed his arms and stuck his lip out.

"If you'll stop with the ugly face then ill tell you "

"Okay, now tell me " I smiled.

"I brought back my mate " he froze for a second then smiled.

"Holy shīt , no way . When can I meet her ?" he was bouncing around the kitchen with the stupidest smile on his face.

"Just grab that tray and follow me ,and don't drop anything Bryce" he grabbed the tray and motioned for me to lead the way.

"So, How'd you meet exactly ?" I rubbed my face. Why did I tell him?

"I meet her during the war"

"Is she okay with you invading her territory ?"

"No she's not , so don't bring it up " I walked into the hospital wing were a few of my men was healing from their injuries. Then I stepped into the last door in the hall. She still laid peacefully in her sleep. I turned to Bryce and put my fingers to my lips. He nodded and we entered into the room.

"Wow" he said as he set the tray down.

"She's beautiful " I nodded.

"So what was the first thing you said to her?" I sighed .

"Look it wasn't the best meeting and I told her if she didn't listen I would reject her and her father surrendered her over without even caring ... so don't mention her father or her old pack got it ?" he nodded.

"Why would you say that though?"

"You'll see when she wakes up " I laughed and walked to the edge of her bed and nudged her shoulder.

"Adrian time to wake up " she mumbled and swatted my hand away.

"Adrian " she groaned and rolled onto her side.

"Adrian get up now " the only way I could possible get people to do anything was using my authority.

"Fu...ck you" she set up and rubbed her eyes. Then glanced at me then Bryce (who was literally drooling like a love struck puppy).

"Who is he ?" she asked and he smiled.

"The names Bryce , sorry for the rude behavior of my older brother " She nodded.

"Where am I ?" I was surprised she wasn't freaking out.

"You're in the pack house " she seemed slightly in/out of sleep.

" Yeah , you'll like it here . You got me to talk to if you need me ... and " I pushed his shoulder and glared.

"He's always so bossy , but he's not that bad." I growled and Bryce shut his mouth and hunched back in a chair.

"Okay here's your breakfast ,eat what you want and I'll be back to take you to your room." I finished and pointed to the tray of food.

"I'm not staying here " she balled her hands into fists and I took a step forward.

"You remember that little conversation we had over what happens if you don't listen ?" she growled and Bryce gasped behind us.

"U don't own me and you defiantly don't control what I do " I growled louder and took a few steps more till I was face to face with her.

"Well see Princess " she kept her face the same as I turned my back to leave.

"Bryce make sure she eats and tell me when's she's done " he nodded and I left the room.

Whatever caused her to be like this I was going to find out, but the only way I knew how was to show her who's boss.
