I ran towards my old neighborhood, my old home, finally can breathe fresh air and not the dusty air of the old bus I came in.

Luckily, I woke up in rich people's house, where you're going to find some cash in every corner you look at. In the closet the shoes were, I found also a purse with money that was more than enough for a bus ticket.

I came to my home and knocked fast on the door, waiting for an answer.                                                           After several moments I stood there awkwardly, the door opened and I faced the pretty brunette who was my sister.                                                                                                                                                                                     We had the same hair color, but I had green eyes who looked blue sometimes while she had huge chocolate eyes, that could transform easily to the perfect puppy eyes.

She wore black jeans, that I'm pretty sure were mine, and some random jacket I saw her wearing like a hundred times. By the time and how she looked, I assumed she was going to go to school in few moments. The thing that made my heart shrink was the fact she didn't recognized me. She had the look she always had when she met new people.

"Can I help you?" she asked with shiny voice, that made you think she is just a shiny quiet girl, until you've got to know her closely.                                                                                                                                         "Marry? It's me. What's up?" I asked her, confused.                                                                                                   "Do I know you?" she asked, sound confused too.

I almost started to cry. Almost. I was going to answer her, but then I saw my mom coming, dressed in her work's clothes. She came closely and watched me curiously, and with the same look as Marry had, which made my heart shrink even more.                                                                                                                      "Marry? Who's that girl?" she asked quietly, trying that I wouldn't hear her but failing. I could feel the tears threatening to go out, and I try my best not to cry in front of them.

I smiled fake smile. "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else", I said, "her name is Lily?"     They looked at me, confused. "I'm sorry", my mom, who is no longer remember me, said nicely, "but I don't anyone named Lily. Try in another apartment, maybe they'll know who is this Lily you're looking for."

I smiled again and left without saying a word. I knew that if I'll try to speak, I'll probably will start crying. I walked down the stairs quickly, feeling the tears running down my chicks and went outside the building.

I wondered when I'll go now. I can't go back to the house I woke up in, or should I say 'my home' from now? Anyway, if this woman truly believes I'm her daughter, she'll be furious and probably will yell at me as soon as I'll lay one foot inside the house.

I decided to go to the other place I knew for years: my school. I knew a lot of people from there, one of them have to remember me, right? I went quickly to my old school and stood there. Some people glanced at me, but none of them recognized me, although I knew them all.

I sighed sadly and started to walk away from the old building.

Suddenly someone yelled my name.                                                                                                                                      I turned around and got attack in tight bear hug, giving by the person I cared about the most. "Lily! Where the hell have you been? I missed you so much!" Jack, my best friend, asked and made my ears hurt a little.                                                                                                                                                                                          I smiled and hugged him again. "At least you remember me", I said sadly, "my mother and Marry didn't recognized me this morning when I came to meet them."                                                                     "Yeah, some strange things happened here since you disappeared", Jack said. "At first, everybody asked about you, and suddenly they stopped, like they just forgot about you. And not to mention the creepy duds that I saw here sometimes."

I chewed my bottom lip in confusion, and after few moments I could taste blood.                                           I released the lip from my teeth, and spoke. "Today I woke up in strange fancy house with some woman who is sure I'm her daughter. And guess what? I have no memory since November 13."        Jack robbed his arm while he was thinking. "Something big and bad is happening. We need to find out what is this thing."                                                                                                                                                            "We?" I asked, "You're mean that you're going to help me?" "Of course", he smiled, "we're in this together, even if it's just you that... you know... well, I don't really know what happened. Yet. I will help you."

I smiled and hugged him again. "Thank you. I'll talk to you. We're going to find out everything. Hopefully."

I went to the house, or as I should call him, 'my house', finally feeling that maybe, although what happened to me since this morning, I'm not so alone anymore.
