"WAKE UP! DUDE, WAKE THE HELL UP!"
I opened my eyes and see my cousin scared to death. "Where are we?" I asked. "In the basement hiding!" He replied. Long story short, I went to Santo Domingo for the summer. I stayed at my grandmas house, it's a pretty old house, and it has some dark history behind it. "Why are we in the basement?" As I looked around and noticed half of my family crouching next to me, I ask my cousin "What happened?" "You don't remember what happened?" Questioned my Jake. "Of course he doesn't remember! He got thrown across the room by that... THAT THING!" Answered my older sister as she was struggling to open a can of corn. We started hearing footsteps as dust started falling off the floor above us. "That's her!" My uncle said as he slowly grabbed the shotgun. He looked at me and threw the shotgun at me. "What the hell am I supposed to do with a shotgun?" I asked him. "Well.... you go kill her! You almost did it!" He replied. I looked around and saw how everyone was looking at me as if I was some kind of leader. I took a deep breath, slowly got up and loaded the shotgun. "On my signal, run outside! Ok?" They all said yes and I looked at the door. I slowly went up the stairs with the shotgun ready to fire. I opened the door and everything was pitch black. I took a deep breath and started searching for the creature.
Meanwhile, my family saw blood coming out of the walls. The blood wasn't red, it was black. It started drawing a perfect circle, with two moons on the left and the right, then it drew a star in the middle, but the star was red. "What the hell!" Said my uncle. My grandma went up to it and almost touched it. "I can hear...... Screaming...." She said in a soft voice. As she was about to touch the drawing on the wall, I came and opened the door to the basement and yelled "RUN! EVERYONE LETS GO!" We all ran for the main door of the house. As we were about to go to the door, the creature appeared right in front of us. She reminded me of the ghost from the movie The Lady In Black. But with a dress made out of black smoke and her nails sharp like a cats claw, and eyes red like ruby. I shot her with the shotgun and that only made her angry. She picked up my grandma, ripped her body in two and through one half of her body across the room and the other half of her body to me. "NOOOO!" I yelled in anger. I got the corpse off of me and jumped on the lady's back. I got the shotgun and shot her in the face. "LETS SPLIT!" Said my uncle. "NO YOU IDIOTS! YOU'LL DIE!" I yelled to them but no one heard me and they split. My cousin, my uncle and my older sister went one way and my mom, my grandpa, and my aunt the other. I followed my uncle. The lady went towards my mom and ate her. She then went to my grandpa and smashed his head against the table and crushed his skull. Meanwhile, me, my uncle, my cousin, and older sister ran for the door and we made it out. We heard a loud scream from my aunt, right there we knew she was died. We looked around the world. It felt like it was dead. The sky was red, plants and trees were dead, and buildings were destroyed. "What the he'll happened?" I asked. "A nuke happened!" My uncle replied with anger as he was stomping his feet. While he was stomping his feet, the ground started shaking. "EARTHQUAKE!" My cousin yelled with terror. "THIS IS NO EARTHQUAKE JAKE! IVE BEEN IN AN EARTHQUAKE AND THIS IS DIFFERENT!" I replied back screaming.
"How are we going to get out of here?" My sister asked. I looked around while trying to keep my balance and saw that the house we were in was completely fenced around it, there was no way out. A few seconds later, a giant earthworm comes out of the ground and eats my sister whole. "HOLY SHIT!" My uncle yelled. We looked around and we saw a tree and ran for it. The worm went back underground but we knew it was coming back in a few seconds. We climbed the tree all the way to the top. The earthworm then came from under the tree and slowly ate the tree. I looked at the fence and noticed a sharp loose piece of metal hanging out. I jumped out of the tree and my cousin yelled "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" "I HAVE AN IDEA! BUT I MIGHT DIE!" I replied back as I ripped the metal of off the fence! I then got a rock and threw it at the worm. The worm then stopped from eating the rest of the tree and came towards me. "COME AND EAT ME BABY! IM ALL YOURS!" I then ran all the way around the house and the worm at me and it died. "He's.... He's.... Gone!" My cousin said with eyes watery. "Wait.... The worm!" My uncle said. "What about it?" My cousin then asked. "It's.... It's moving! RUN!" They both ran a few inches when the noticed the worm was being ripped apart from the inside. Then, I came out of its stomach with my sister. The both of us were covered in goo but my cousin and uncle were relieved that we were alive. We moved the worm towards the fence, making a ladder so we can get out of the house. We ran across the block where we went up a destroyed building for shelter. When we went to the top we sat down and thought what we were going to do. We all fell asleep.
At midnight, I woke up because I heard a noise coming from the side of the building. "Guys wake up! Listen!" They all woke up and waited for something to happen then, they heard the same noise as I did coming form the side of the building. We all went to see what it was and we saw dozens and dozens of giant spiders crawling to the top of the building. "SHIT!" I yelled. My uncle yelled "grab something to fight with! NOW!" We all grabbed sticks and stones and started to throw it at them, but it didn't do anything. They just kept coming, ready to eat us. "LETS GET OUT OF HERE!" My sister yelled. We ran from rooftop to rooftop as more and more spiders came crawling up on every building we jumped on.
We all died.
My uncle didn't make a jump and fell to his death.
A spider jumped on my older sister and bit her head off.
My cousin got tangled up in some spider web and every part of his body just..... Vanished into thin air.
And I....
I got surrounded by my worse fear. Spiders. I looked everywhere for an exit, but there was no use.... In every corner of the building I was in.... There was spiders! First one jumped on me then another spider, and after that one, two more came.they kept jumping on to me forming a mountain of spiders as the ripped me to shreds while I yelled for help.
