Chapter 1

  I don't own anything.  Rick Riordan and the various music artists own everything but the storyline.  And the couples.  And my incredibly absurd mind.

                                                                               ARTEMIS POV

I walked onstage with a microphone in my hand and grimaced as I waved to the crowd.  Why on Gaea was Zeus making me host this?!  I get that it was a celebratory event for the demigods for defeating Gaea, the primordial of the Earth.  I understood that, and I agreed that we should do a night of karaoke for them, but why can't Apollo host this night?  He can both DJ and host tonight.  I don't see why I have to.  I have much better things to do, including controlling my hunters, talking to my sister, Athena, or possibly making out with my guardian/fiance Percy.  It's a long story on how we ended up together, so really, don't ask.   Zeus made me swear that me and the female goddesses would do a song, so I just wanted to get it over with, and since Poseidon (and Percy) were going off to war in the sea, we thought that we would do a tribute.  The female goddesses and I stood in a line, with Athena on my left and Hera on my right.  The music to Nobody, by Selena Gomez, started to play, as we raised our own individual microphones to our mouths.

We finished, breathless, panting as we looked around the shocked room.  There was a moment of silence before they started clapping.  We grinned, grabbed eachother's hands, and bowed.  They walked off, except for Athena, who I convinced to co-host with me.  She said, "Alright, so that was the female goddesses, obviously, with Nobody, by Selena Gomez.  I'm Athena."

I joined in, "And I'm Artemis.  Apollo helped us organize tonight, which is a karaoke party to congratulate you demigods on defeating Gaea.  Next up, we have the Aphrodite Cabin, with Love You Like A Love Song, also by Selena Gomez." Athena and I walked off stage as the girls and boys, along with their mother, walked onto the stage.
