ARTEMIS POV

10 YEARS LATER

It's been 10 years since Selene and Adelphos have been born. It's been 8 years since Minerva Pandora Jackson has been born. It's been 7 years since Poseidon and Athena had a daughter named Nix Pamina. It's been 4 years since Melinoe Theokleia Jackson was born and 1 year since the birth of Theseus Manouri Jackson's birth. Additionally, it has been 3 months since Selene Marina Jackson married Adelphos Nemos. We were walking to the Throne Room of the Gods so that Selene and Adelphos could claim the throne. We were just in time for the meeting of the summer solstice. There were no demigods on Olympus, today, and Athena, Poseidon, and I walked in and took our thrones. Throughout the meeting, we glanced at each other nervously.

Finally, Zeus asked, "Does anyone else have anything to add?"

I said, "I do, Father." Every one groaned as I stood up "I have come bringing news that the Prophecy of the Maiden Goddesses has come true." Zeus sat upright in his throne. "The prophecy states that the first children of two maiden goddesses shall take over the throne when they turn eleven. Athena?"

Athena and Poseidon rose from their thrones and Athena began speaking, "May I present to you, Adelphos Nemos, the first born natural son of Poseidon and I." By this point, everyone in the room was watching us. Adelphos walked into the room and stood by his parents.

I took a deep breath and continued, "May I present to you Selene Marina Jackson, the first born daughter of Perseus Jackson and I." Everyone was shocked as Selene entered the room to stand by me. Behind her, Percy crept in and stood by her. "Selene Marina Jackson and Adelphos Nemos are the new rulers of Olympus, as decreed by the Prophecy of the Maiden Goddesses." The other gods and goddesses got off their thrones, shrunk to human size, and knelt down to them. Adelphos and Selene took hold of each other's hands as they walked forward to accept the crows given to them by Zeus and Hera. Immediately, two new thrones appeared at the ends of the U that formed the godly thrones and the king and queen thrones changed to fit the domains of the god of sailors, boats, and intelligence and the goddess of hunting, mortals, and earth.

During the coronation ceremony, I couldn't stop smiling. I was happy for them, but I was worried about them too. The king and queen of gods, while protected, were often the most targeted, and the ones to change and go power hungry. I didn't want that for my oldest daughter and her husband. But, there was nothing I could do. We were to live a happy life on Olympus, with no worries and our immortal children. But, I had a sneaking suspicion that something was going to happen. Something big.

Dun, DUN DDUUNN!!! Done!! I actually wrote this in two days but just made it longer between when I actually posted stuff. Comment if you want a sequel, or if you want me to try (and fail) to write this in French or Spanish. Please say you don't. GOOD-BYE UNTIL NEXT TIME, MY LOYAL PEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!
