NATSU'S POV

It's been a week after the attack of the three strangers. We were all glad that they didn't come to attack us again, but there's one thing we didn't get; why were they after Lucy? And it seems that Flare Corona was hiding something. Can she be trusted? After all she's from a dark guild. I was deep in thoughts until I heard Erza yell at me.

"Natsu Dragneel! You aren't allowed to sit around when we need your help! Get up and help us clean the left over bits of tables.", Erza demanded while carrying a giant boulder.

"Hai Hai. ", I walked impatiently to get a broom. I looked to my left and saw that even the Corona girl was helping everyone by giving them supplies held in her hair...

"Natsu! I need help here!", Lucy called with her wind reading glasses on, concentrating in a huge dusty book.

"Yo. What do you need?", I walked to her, hands in pockets, completely relaxed.

"I've been researching about guild marks, you remember the guild marks on the three's arms right? It's said that they belong to the guild Fire Dragon. I was wondering if they had some kind of connection to the fire dragon Igneel. Come and take a look.", Lucy explained and gestured for me to take a look. I examined the symbol of the guild, it was a red dragon with flames around it. Wait! Not just any dragon, the dragon looked exactly like Igneel. I was shocked.

"That's...That's Igneel!", I exclaimed.

"What! Then what kind of connection would they have to Igneel?", Lucy began to study the symbol carefully, writing down all sorts of details it has.

"Natsu. You can go help the others now. I'll ask the master about this.", Lucy took off her wind reading glasses, folded the page corner, closed the book and prepared to leave for Master's office.

"No way! I'm coming! It's about Igneel and I want to find him as soon as I can!", I didn't hesitate before following her with my usual foolish grin on. If this actually lead me to Igneel, then I would freak out.

"Okay then. If that's what you want.", Lucy studied my face carefully before letting me follow her.

Soon, we reached Master's office.

"Master, are you free?", Lucy knocked on the door before asking. Master opened the door, surprised to see us.

"Yes, of course. Now come in and take a seat.", Master waited for us to settle down before asking us what's wrong.

"So do you have any information about the guild?"

"Yes, in fact I think it might be related to Igneel.", Lucy told him the whole story about the mark, how it resembled Igneel, how the guild is named Fire Dragon.

"I think there might be some kind of secret in the guild. After all, they're searching for a dragon. If they wanted Acnologia that much, why would they name their guild Fire Dragon and not Death Dragon? Maybe they know Igneel?", Lucy seemed like she had millions of questions to ask.

"Whoa! If they actually know where Igneel is, then I can just ask them and then I get to see Igneel!", I blurted out, excited. Lucy gave me a dirty look.

"How stupid can you get, Natsu? They aren't gonna tell an enemy Igneel's location! And besides, they might not even know where Igneel is. Maybe the Master is a friend of Igneel in the past or something!", Lucy snapped at me, wow she seemed annoyed.

"Hmm...Lucy might be correct, but there's still tons of mystery that needs t be uncovered. Lucy I'm leaving that to you and Levy. And perhaps Natsu too. Because he knows Igneel the best in our guild.", Master probably thinks there's someone who knows Igneel better than I the way he added "In our guild".

"I'll be researching more about it, in fact I might be taking a trip to Port Haluga-the place it said that honored Igneel.", Lucy nodded and collected the huge book before leaving with me trailing behind her.

LUCY'S POV

Arriving at Port Haluga, I walked alone, holding a map in my hands. Apparently, the people in Port Haluga were a bit weird. Whenever they heard the name "Igneel", they ran away freaked out. I was starting to get impatient when I heard an old lady's voice behind me, I turned.

"Hello there, you seem to be looking for something. Can I help you?", the old lady smiled kindly. I studied her, she was about Master's height, her hair is grey with white streaks and pinned up to her head. Her skin is wrinkled and old, and she wore a black coat despite the hot season. The old woman looked nice and comforting.

"Yes, please. I've been looking for a library you see.", I didn't dare ask her straight about Igneel since I didn't want her to run away also.

"Oh you don't need a library, I can tell you anything you want. You've been asking about Igneel right?", the old woman asked kindly, I nodded.

"It's a bit strange that nobody answered me. I'm in a pickle right now and I really need to know about Igneel.", I explained to her, looking directly in her eyes and making sure it didn't sound like a joke.

"Yes, I'll tell you all about him. Igneel was a kind and generous dragon, he liked to help humans. He was the king of the dragons. He especially liked the people of Port Haluga and helped them the most. That's why he's honored by Port Haluga.", the old woman explained before hurrying away to somewhere. I thought about it at first, then suspected that something's wrong. There's too many holes it that story. If he's that honored by Port Haluga, why are the people here scared of him? And besides the information wasn't needed, I already knew that. So I decided to go to a book store to find more about Igneel.

I searched the entire city, but all of the book stores and libraries were closed, which was weird. And people avoided me wherever I go. The only person who dared to come close to me was the old woman, so I thought there was something strange with her. So I decided to go back. There wasn't anything I could find. But as I walked to the train station. I found a strange book. It was labeled'THE BOOK OF KNOWLEGE'. The book didn't even have the authors name, a bar code, or a summary at the back. It seemed very, very old, for the cover was tarnished and the pages were yellow and the words were written in a language that I've never seen before. So I decided to get back and let Levy decipher it. I rode on the nearest train and got back to Fairy Tail.
