I have been here for days, months, years even! And no one who came by cared Yes they saw a girl who was really skinny, had brown hair, silver eyes, dirty, alone, about 15, and they never cared.
I wondered when someone who cared would come by. I looked around at my shallow, dark, alley. I sighed. I don't know why I wait, no one is ever gonna care. I thought sadly.
I was smart, I go to school privately. The city paid the school for me to go. It was summer, and today is the first day of school. I washed my clothes in the little pond near this alley, then of course a bath in a spot no one would see me.
I was ready. The city dropped off some school supplies, and some food and water, and thankfully, money. I started walking to school, and I saw some teenagers looking at me, pointing, and laughing. One yelled at me, "You are an idiot coming back, Anadil!"
I was really close to crying. No. I told myself. I will not cry, that's what they want. I continued walking until I reached Meadow Highschool. The school colors were pink and lightish green. The mascot was a flower. (What happened to animals?) It's a cute school, well, in a school way. I was walking when I bumped into this guy.
(Sorry for the short chapter, this is my first book.)
