I ran through the streets of Konoha not caring of the weird glances I was given.

Once I arrived in front of Shishou's office I took a deep breathe and opened the door accidentally slamming it into the wall.

"Geez Sakura, haven't I warned you to not slam the door so hard? This is the fourth one this week. I have to replace ANOTHER door.." Shishou said with her eyes closed.

"S-sorry.." I stuttered out embarrassed.

"Maa.. It's fine I'll just get someone to fix it. Anyways I'm guessing you heard the news. Naruto returned back to Konoha just an hour ago with Sasuke and Jiraya following." Shishou said explaining things.

"Hn. Nice to see you again Sakura." Sasuke said smirking a bit.

"SAKURA-CHAN SEE!!! I fulfilled my promise and brought Teme back to Konoha!" Naruto shouted gaining my attention.

A cough resounded the room and that was when I finally noticed the 3 mysterious people behind Sasuke.

"Almost forgot Sasuke's team. Here is Suigetsu, Karin, and Jugo. Sasuke including them will be on probation for the time being meaning that each of them will be watched over by someone. Sakura I entrust Karin under you and Naruto you will look after Sasuke. Kakashi will watch Jugo and Gai will watch over Suigetsu." Shishou spoke up. "One. Ore thing Sakura, don't you have a shift at the hospital?"

I leaned backwards as I could feel the killing intent oozing out of Shishou.

"H-hai! I'm going them!" I quickly ran put of the tower and headed toward the hospital with a smile on my face.

I stretched my arms as I feel my muscles tensing.

The late shifts at the hospital weren't really helping toward my health anyways. Recently more and more shinobi have returned from missions injured or poison, luckily not many were emergency patients.

I take off my white doctor's coat and slipped on my jacket. I then switched off the light in the room and walked out.

Remembering I still have to take care of Karin, I headed to my home since ANBU's most likely already brought her there.

"Ah, sorry for being late, I has a late shift and forgot you were left here. My apologises Karin-san." I said as I saw here waiting in front of my door.

"It's fine I was just got here a few minutes ago. Anyways you must be Sakura. I'm going to warn you don't lay a finger on Sasuke-kun. He's mine." Karin threatened. I chuckled a bit being caught of guard by the light threat.

"I don't know what you heard but I lost my feelings for him long ago. He's all yours, though you may have to fight with Ino for his heart." I replied. Seeing Karin give a light sigh and chuckle.

"Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. You see I really love Sasu-" Karin immediately covered her mouth which made me raise an eyebrow at the movement.

"Oh? Someone hiding their love? Just kidding. It's fine though. Anyways come on in I'll show you your room. It must be freezing out there." I said motioning toward the door.

She muttered a quick thanks and then walked into my apartment. I brought it a few months ago when I became and ANBU. I didn't want my parents to worry about me once I was sent to more frequent missions so with the money I saved up I purchased a decent size apartment. There were 3 rooms 1 bathrooms. Plus a kitchen and a small living room.

I motioned her to follow me and brought her the her room.

"Here's the room you'll be staying in for the time being. Down the hall are my office and bedroom. If you ever need anything just knock on my door." I said and she gave a curt nod. We then started chatting with each other. I learned we had more in common that met the eye. After talking for what seemed like hours both of us were tired so I retired to my room.

I climbed into bed thinking of the day and smiled to myself. Life was perfect now. I had a stable career and back up career. Naruto and Sasuke both returned but to Konoha, and I made a new friend. Life is just sailing smoothly now.

A/N: Sorry about the short chapter. Honestly this kind of like a filler chapter. The better action starts in later chapters. I hope you guys enjoyed what I have so far! Also yes I decided to make Karin a nice person. Don't scream at me. I just thought it was to cliche to make her the bad guy plus kind of stupid. So the true villain shall shine when I decided I've had enough good thoughts flowing into my head. Hope you guys liked the chapter and the next will be coming some time soon, hopefully.
