It was like Zayn was hypnotized. He couldn't look away. The green in Harry's eyes was what kept Zayn staring at them in the first place. But then, Harry bared his teeth and leaned closer to Zayn's neck before sinking them into his skin.

"Mine," was what Zayn heard before his vision got black.

-*-

Zayn felt like his body was on fire. His chest burned yet he felt blissful. He wanted to arch his back and moan, moan so loudly. It felt so good.

The burning slowly spread around his body. All his muscles felt on fire now and he never wanted this to end.

It was pure pleasure. He wanted more, he needed more. Whatever it was, it was driving him crazy. He wanted to crawl more and more into the feeling, let the burning take over his senses. It made him feel dizzy, the good kind of dizzy.

But then, the burning started to fade. Gradually.. Gradually.. And it was gone. It made Zayn want to whine and fuss, he wanted more!

Instead, he regained his sight. He blinked, met with Harry's face close to his. The hybrid was smiling playfully down at him, ears perked up and tail swishing behind him.

"What just happened?" Zayn rasped and slowly sat up, only to have Harry nuzzling his face into his neck. He groaned quietly. His neck was aching. Especially where the boy was touching with his nose.

"I think he marked you," Liam spoke, sounding worried yet somehow excited or fascinated.

"Marked me?" Zayn echoed, his eyebrows furrowing in annoyance. He couldn't be marked. He belonged to himself and no one else. It was getting so much. Especially that Harry was purring. "It's ridiculous," he growled and pulled away from the hybrid and got up. He touched on his burning spot on the neck and hissed, "I hate this," he stated and before Harry managed to grab onto him, Zayn dissapeared behind the door to his room.

Harry whimpered. Why was Zayn acting this way? Did he not want him? Did he not like the way Harry made him feel when he was marking him?

The hybrid was close to crying. He didn't understand. He thought it would be much better here. Especially that Zayn did nothing to prove he was like his previous owner. And yet, he was hurting him so much.

Liam sighed softly and rubbed the side of his neck. He felt bad for Harry. It was surely going to be hard for him to break Zayn's shell. But it wasn't impossible.

"He's just overwhelmed," Niall spoke with a small smile, "He'll warm up to you, don't worry," he assured the hybrid, "Just don't give up."

Louis then led Harry back to the couch where he sat with him and Liam, Niall going to his own room to rest.

He knocked on Zayn's door only to get a growl in return so he just let the lad be.

Zayn was furious though. Everyone stuck to Harry's side as if he was the most important in the whole world. He didn't get it at all.

Was it not important how he felt? Was it only import to make sure that Harry was happy?

It was all Harry's fault. Why did he have to be thrown out exactly where Zayn was going? Was it really that important for them to meet? He didn't get this at all. Why did they have no choice in loving? Why did they have to follow whatever the fate decides to play on them? Why why why?

Zayn rolled onto his tummy as he was lying in his bed and let out a frustrated growl into his pillow. He wanted to destroy something, he was so frustrated. He let out yet another growl and froze slightly as he heard a whimper outside his door.

The raven haired boy slowly sat up as his eyebrows furrowed. Why the hell was he there?

"Z-Zayn.." Harry whined quietly, scratching at the door shyly. "P-Please.." he sniffled.

Zayn had no idea what the hybrid was asking for and only shook his head, "No," he murmured angrily as he buried himself under the duvet to avoid all the other sounds that Harry might be making.

Was Zayn being to harsh? Probably. And he knew that. But he didn't care. Or didn't want to care. He wanted to lead his life the way he felt like it. But no. He had to be a freak, a creature that should only exist in legends and fantasy books.

-*-*-

Zayn didn't mean to but he fell asleep. And now, he woke up again and he was hungry. It was dark, probably late evening or something but he didn't bother checking.

The boy got up and walked to the door, unlocking them and stepping out. But he didn't notice the body on the ground, tripping on it and falling down on the floor with a thud. He only hoped that he woke up nobody.

Zayn slowly gathered himself on the floor and his eyes slightly widened as he noticed that on the floor, covered with a blanket, was Harry, sleeping. Or, not anymore since his green eyes stared right back at him.

"Harry?" Zayn whispered in confusion and the hybrid's eyes widened, quickly climbing onto the boy's lap and nuzzling into his neck.

The raven haired boy sighed. Why did he have to deal with this? Why couldn't Niall take him instead.

"I'm fine, get off," Zayn grumbled, moving Harry off of him and getting up. He walked away and to the kitchen but what he didn't expect was that the hybrid followed him. He heard him whimper all the way down and now he was pawing at Zayn's back, making him grow more and more annoyed.

All Harry wanted though was Zayn's attention and affection. Why couldn't he still be so gentle like before? Why wouldn't he play with Harry's ears or tail? Was Harry not cute enough? Was he not cuddly, not fluffy enough?

"Zayn," Harry whined and leaned his forehead between Zayn's shoulder blades, breathing in his amazing, manly scent. The hybrid felt dizzy as he inhaled it and all he could think about was mine.

Zayn was his. His scent, his touch, his skin, his lips, his hair.. Everything. He's marked him. No one is ever going to have him.

"What do you want?" Zayn slowly turned around and now the boy had his head in his owner's neck. He loved it, his scent was even stronger there.

"Sorry," Harry murmured quietly, sounding really sorry. As if he was apologizing for not only making Zayn fall but also for this whole situation, "So sorry," he added and the Raven haired boy felt bad.

He must have been so cold lying on the ground. Good thing that someone (probably Liam) covered him with a blanket.

Zayn sighed, "Yeah," he grumbled quietly and pulled away from the hybrid, slowly getting up onto his feet. He caught the hurt expression on Harry's face so he held his hand out to him wordlessly.

The hybrid took it happily and kept holding onto his hand even when he was standing. He moved impossibly close to the shorter lad and tried to nuzzle into his shoulder.

But Zayn let go of his hand and began walking away. Harry followed him quickly, pouting since Zayn was ignoring him.

The raven haired lad poured himself a glass of water before taking out some dinner leftovers.

"Zayn," Harry whined.

"What? If you want to, you can go lay down on my bed. I'll be back soon. "

And Harry couldn't be happier.
