Chapter 3

****3rd Period Class

"Sigh. I have to be more careful than before " says sky. "I thought no one was in here last Friday. I guess the bathroom it is for now on"sky says.Sky gets her clothes out of her gym locker and heads towards the bathroom. She enters the bathroom and locks the door behind her. Sky goes towards the mirror & looks at her face. It looks fine she says.
Sky then starts to undress in front of the bathroom mirror. She starts to touch every bruise old & new she has on her body. Sky's mother Skivian has been abusing ski since  she was three. Skivian didn't want to have sky.

Back in the day Skivian was the pretties girl in Carlton Town. She had nice long curly black hair with pretty dark skin to match. She stand at 5'7 and was thick. Her waist was small with big boobs and big bubble butt. You can say momma skivian was bad back then.
One night walking home from a party Skivian was raped. She was ganged raped by a local gang called "The Misery Boys".They were just that. A group of boys that caused hell and misery to everything they touched.

The leader of the gang James Smothers always liked Skivian but, she never gave him the time of day. He found that rude cause all the chicks in Carlton was on him but, skivian. He vowed if she wasn't willingly going to give it up then him &his boys are going to take it.James &his boys had ganged raped , beat and pissed on skivian. They throw her limped broken and beat up body behind an old condemned building . Luckily for skivian, the neighborhood watch leader Ms.Tally had saw The misery boys dump her their. Ms.Tally was doing her normal walk around the block with her two big red nose pit bulls.

Skivian was in the hospital for a month breathing through a tube. James and his boys had fucked her up bad. She had broken ribs, broken leg, busted lip ,black eye ,a cut on her face and her lungs were damaged due to them stomping her.

After enduring months of trying to get back on track Skivian was never the same. She had became a ward of the state since her mother Hatty didn't care about Skivian to check up on her at the hospital and diagnosed as bi-polar. That year and the year following was filled with skivian going from foster home to foster home. She had to fight a few monsters that always crept into her room late at night until she met Ms. Talmer.
Ms. Talmer was a very short black woman that was a foster parent for 30 years. She lived in the hood part of Brigs Town but, everyone knew she was the kindest woman you'll ever meet. She was the type to open up her home to anybody in need. So when skivian's case worker Mrs.Trini, placed skivian in Ms.Talmer care she knew skivian was in a good home. Ms. Talmer saw Skivian for who she really was. She was the only person that skivian felt safe around and the only person that took the time to get to know skivian. The help of Ms. Talmer ,skivian was able to deal with all of her pain and come to realize none of it was her fault. That she has the right to say no to unwanted advances from men. Skivian eventually came to terms with her past demons and got her life together. She graduated BrigsHigh as Valedictorian and was accepted into all Ivy league schools.

Skivian had decided to go to Cornell University in Ithaca, New York to become a Lawyer. Ms. Talmer had thrown skivian a going away party where everyone in the hood had attended. The party was going well until Ms.Talmer had a heart attacked in the kitchen. She died on her way to Brigs Hospital and skivian never was the same again. She started working at ShakeDat Strip Club where she was the star of the show. The majority of the chicks couldn't stand her because, of that and sat skivian up to be buck fifty. The guy they asked to do it had other plans.

It was 4am in the morning and skivian just got out her car. She started to walk towards the steps to her new apartment. She couldn't bare staying in Ms.Talmer apartment because of the memories of her but , she did continue to pay the rent their. Skivian was just about to put her key into the door when a man had put a gun to her head. He said in a deep voice "Hurry up & open the door bitch". Skivian did as she was told and he pushed himself in. As soon they where in her apartment he started to pistol whip skivian. He had beat her all in her head & face. He then raped her for several hours and made her take a shower to wash away the evidence. Skivian stayed in the shower for two days until Tasha came to check on her. Tasha was the only friend skivian had that worked at the strip club. When tasha had entered skivian apartment she saw a blood trail from the front of the house to skivian's bathroom. When she saw skivian beat up face and body she called the cops.

Skivian didn't recover from this tragedy again. The pain of losing Ms.Talmer and being raped again had broken skivian. The fact that both tragedies had happened within three months of each other had caused skivian to go off the deep end. She stopped taking her medication for her bi polar disorder (Risperidone a form of (Risperdal) . Tasha was able to help skivian get on SSI because ,she became unfit to work. A month
later skivian found out she was 2 months pregnant with her rapist baby. That was when skivian really went off the deep end. She drank threw her entire pregnancy and with the grace of god sky was born fine. The Children protective services had took sky for the first 6 months of sky's life. Skivian had to prove to the courts she could take care of sky. Although she hated the fact that her rapists was sky's dad,she loved her daughter and wanted her back. Skivian was able to prove to family court that she was a fit mother. She stopped drinking but ,was still on SSI. She was order to take her bi polar medication and to go to a clinical psychologist . Skivian was doing good for awhile. When sky turned 3 she started to look like her father. That's when skivian started to drank again and began beating sky. She has been abusing sky ever since.
