After they were done crying everyone went to their rooms . Brianna went into her room and turned on her iPod nano . Their mom knelt by her temporary bed and opened her Bible . Christina took a nap , the whole time clutching to her heart the last thing her aunt gave her , the key. When she woke up she wondered why her hand was so sweaty she opened her palm and saw the key . '' Why not go see the mirror right now ?. Let's see it's 2: 30 now I'll be back by 3:15 , if there is a world in there at all . I need some cheering up. I'll see what aunt Ruth was talking about. '' She got up and walked into the hall . She passed Brianna's room , she was still busy. There was no point in telling her what she was doing, she would make fun of her. She passed her mom's room, she was asleep with her Bible in her hands . Good. No one would see or hear her leave . she walked up the attic stairs quietly and opened the attic door . She approached the mirror . She saw her reflection , well as far as face features went .

She was dressed in the most beautiful gown she had ever seen . It was sky blue with yellow ribbons on her dress and in her golden hair . She stood there transfixed at her beauty . then she remembered about the key . She found the key hole . ''Funny I never noticed that before'' she thought to herself . She put the key in the hole and turned it . All the sudden the frame around the mirror glowed gold colors! She jumped back taken by surprise . Then a golden handle formed out of the glass on the right side! She grasped the handle and pulled out , when that didn't work , she pushed in and to her astonishment it opened ! Overtaken by curiosity she didn't even think that it might be dangerous to go inside , or to go get someone to go with her. She forgot all about the Black Knight , her aunt being poisoned here , and even the White Knight .She had enough sense though to put the key on her neck. Then she stepped into the mirror and closed the door behind her . She didn't know , but the handle and the golden glowing colors disappeared. Meanwhile she found herself indeed in a garden, a beautiful garden. She saw servants tending to the garden . One of the male servants was near her , and he looked up and saw her. He dropped his basket of weeds and exclaimed '' The King preserve us !'' At his exclamation others looked up and said exclamations like what the one nearest to her had said '' Kingdom stars ! where did thee come from?'' '' Kingdom alive , bless me!'' Christina didn't like being gawked at and was about to tell them so when a well funny dressed man appeared in their midst . He was young and had kind brown eyes and curly black hair . He looked strong and spoke with authority and he was dressed in ... well what looked like prince clothes. ''Gothbart what has happened here?'' His kind eyes took her in and said ''How did thou enter my father's garden ?'' '' I entered in through that ... she turned and stopped mid sentence. The young man's eyes followed her pointing finger ."It was right there !'' she persisted . '' There is no entrance there ,I am afraid dear lady ''.the young man said . The man called Gothbart explained '' This lady appeared here from out of nothing.'' '' Indeed ''. The young man replied .'' Who art thou then?'' he asked Christina . It occurred to Christina that he was talking weird because this time period was a long time ago in her own world . '' My name is Christina Minneapolis''. she answered . '' Lady Christina does thou knowest how you came to be here ?'' he questioned . He didn't let her answer for he exclaimed '' Thou will not answer standing outside in this humid weather. Come to my father's dwelling ''. He led her down the long beautiful path to his father's mansion.
