**(A/N: Okay, so this isn't like 95% of the other phanfics that you guys have read- it doesn't include Dan and Phil's high school life, neither Dan's or Phil's fathers are homophobes, and it's going to stay parallel to their actual past. It's not going to be one of the fics where I write a made up story, slap their names on it, and add a few of their defining characteristics to the personalities of the characters. I'll be writing it according to actual events, but with my interpretation of what went on off of the camera, starting right at when they met. I'll try really hard to get the characters right, and if you guys have any editing tips (lol) to make Dan and Phil more Phanesque, please let me know! Also, don't get pissed off at me for getting something wrong, as this is my first phanfic! Also, yes, this chapter is EXTREMELY short, but that's because I'm trying to get a feel for the writing, and I honestly don't know if I'm going to continue this or not. Comment your feedback!)**
(Dan's POV)
I opened my eyes and blinked lazily, focusing in on the clock on my bedside table. It read 7:08. "Ugh," I muttered rolling over on my side, facing the opposing wall. My mind faintly registered that something important was happening today, but I wasn't awake enough to figure it out yet. I continued to doze for the next thirty minutes, until I finally had enough energy to roll out of bed and onto the floor, my bedsheets tangling around my body. I yawned and began to slowly disentangle myself before forcing myself up to make breakfast- which was a bowl of shreddies and milk. As I ate, it slowly dawned on me what had been pricking at the back of my mind earlier. I was going to meet Phil Lester. My YouTube senpai- the one that I had been stalking on MySpace, Facebook, MSN, and Dailybooth for about the last two or three months- had actually noticed me, and invited me to come over to his apartment. I planned to film a video (completely sarcastic) about 'how to befriend your favourite Internet stars' with Phil having a special appearance at the end. I haven't told him how I plan to have him as a 'guest star' on my channel, but I'm sure he'll understand when we get there. Maybe.
After demolishing my breakfast, I headed upstairs to my bathroom to hate on my appearence and straighten the dreaded hobbit hair. I pulled my straightener out of the drawer, and proceeded to correct my long, irritatingly curly hair, before returning to my room to get dressed, etc. Etc. I had picked out an outfit specifically for today- my weird, fluffy hat that made me look like a pedophile/ Eskimo, a pink and blue striped polo, and jeans. The perfect look for a stalker who will be making a video giving advice on how to make friends with people on the internet. I checked the clock again- 8:30- and figured that I should get to working on it before I went to film at Phil's. I grabbed my computer, turned it on, set it at just the right angle so that nobody would find my face ugly or something, and turned the lights off.
