Rythian wakes up with hate in his heart. Hate towards Duncan, for planting the bomb. Hate towards Sjin for just...being Sjin. Hate towards Zoey, for being so stupid!
"Teep....I want revenge!" He shouts. His shout makes the teen shoot out of his seat and onto the floor. Teep, or Teddy, only he knows his real name. Teddy glares at Rythian, he is not a morning person.
"I have a plan, but it involves breaking into the castle of the very man who destroyed our home."
Teddy silently sighs, he is upset about loosing Zoey and Blackrock but he is used to it. He's lost others that were close to him, countless homes. But also he sees that trying to get revenge, will lead to more problems.
But against his good judgement Teddy helps his friend sneak into the scientists castle. As Rythian is doing whatever he came to do, Teddy is standing guard on a roof top. A shadow in the small area behind the castle gate catches his eye.
He silently climbs down the vines and chases after the shadow, but being wary of the scientist's presence. He hears the sobs of a woman, Teddy is confused by this.
He sneaks down the hall and sees that the woman looks like Rythian, same hair and everything. The woman looks up and him and backs to the wall, pulling a shining bow out and noticing an arrow.
"S-stay back!" She shouts as Teddy gets closer.
Teddy debates whether to speak or not, but he went mute for a reason and isn't going to break that reason just to not get shot by a scared girl. So instead he raises his hands up, showing he means no harm.
"Teep?" Rythia whispers, recognizing the face of the teen.
Teddy nods, knowing to react to the fake name.
"What happened to Zoey? Why are you here?" She whispers quickly as she puts her bow away.
Teddy looks at her with sadness in his eyes.
"No!" She yells. "S-she can't be dead!"
Teddy pulls her into a hug, just letting Rythia sob into his shoulder.
"Ryth what's going on?" Her brother yells down the hall, slowly coming closer.
"Run Teep!" And Teddy just runs to where the waiting Rythian is. Rythian grabs hold of the teen's arm and flies towards the giant crater where Blackrock once stood.
Rythian constructs a three by four cage made out of obsidian and TNT, so Duncan can't escape.
"It's ready!" He shouts as he uses the portal gun he stole to connect the cage to the castle.
At the castle Rthia and Duncan are fighting over the golems.
"Let me show you what they did Duncan!" She shouts at her brother.
"Fine you first then oh so mighty!" He shouts back.
Rythia steps through the portal but the orange portal disappears.
"NO NO NO!" Duncan shouts. He looks over where the pedestal was and the portal gun is missing.
"No Rythia!" He screams. He knows who would do this, and he knows that it was meant for him.
"She's at Rythian's castle, well what's left of it I guess."
He quickly packs up his gear and flies towards where his sister will be.
Rythia is shocked to not see their secret base, but a cage made out of obsidian and TNT.
"Duncan I-who are you?" Rythian asks puzzled. He is staring at a look a like of himself.
"Let me out!" She yells. In a split second her wand of lightning and her mining laser is in her two hands.
"I would be careful where you point those things. Now tell me, who are you and why do you look like me!"
Rythia's eyes widen when she realizes that this is the Mage that her brother hates. She stays silent, angering Rythian.
"I can pull this lever and it won't end well for you!" He gets closer to the lever that would kill Rythia.
"No you won't you bastard," Duncan says.
"Why do you care scientist? She looks like me, and is most likely a Mage."
Rythia is slowly destroying the obsidian, as Duncan thinks of a reason that will not give away that they're siblings.
"See! You don't care about her!" Rythian yells.
After forty seconds Rythia breaks out and pins Rythian to the ground.
"Rythia lets go!" Duncan shouts.
"Let me do something first!" She shouts back.
She kicks the Mage in the head and flies after her brother, her mask slipping a little then just falling off and onto the ground.
"Shit!" She yells as she flies after it. The purple cloth lands right next to Rythian, who is barely conscious.
Rythia quickly ties the mask back onto her face, covering the scars of an EnderBorn.
"Rythia come on!" Duncan shouts one more time.
They quickly fly home, leaving Teddy to take care of Rythian. They pass Sips Co on their way home, not even realizing that Zoey is there.
"WHERE AM I?!" Zoey shouts when she wakes up.
"Zoey calm down," Sips says.
"No!" She shouts.
Sjin walks in, "Zoey you almost died and your boyfriend didn't do anything, we saved you."
Zoey looks heartbroken, "Rythian didn't try to save me?"
Sjin shakes his head, and Zoey starts to sob. She can't believe that Rythian didn't try to save her, after all they've been through.
"Zoey we.....we had to replace your arm, I'm sorry."
Zoey looks down and notices the mechanical arm for the first time, and the eye piece over her eye.
"Thank you for saving me you guys, is there a spot open to work for you guys?"
Sjin and Sips looks at each other, "Yes."
So Zoey joins the Sips Co team, heart broken from Rythian not trying.
