A/N: okay after this might be one more just for fun. Thanks to this story, I'm coming up with more Candip ideas. But I want you people to vote if I Gould do another one that isn't related to this that much. Kinda like another way to make Candip happen. This is my number favorite couple of all time. Anyways, enjoy because I will be squealing my heart when IT happens wink wink ^^

"Her dad?" Dipper's jaw literally had fallen onto the wooden board of the floor.
"Yeah. Me and Grenda met him at the beauty pageant." Mabel said. "And right before we left, he gave me his number so I could contact him when Candy's around."
"How come I've never heard of her father?" He cross his arms together.
"I just found out today. Grenda explain everything to me about him." But then she smirked. "But I'm more concern why you're all mister stand up."
He didn't quite catch her drift. "Huh?"
"Were you-"
"No I was not over all jealous of some random man who decides to talk to her even though he could be dangerous only cause I never heard of him!"
Mabel looked surprised and her smile only grew larger. "I was gonna ask if you were gonna ask her if she had something of yours, but oooohh!"
Now Dipper felt like an idiot. He didn't expect that to happen. He blushed, very embarrassed and was being taunted by his sister's teasing. She kept repeating 'You like her! You like her!' and kept spinning around him making him a but dizzy. He wish his hat could hide his face.
"I do not." He said.
"Do too!" She giggled.
"Mabel, please just drop it."
She stopped her spinning and silliness. She only looked at him with a silly face with nothing to say. But then she finally spoke and said it quickly. "You like her."
"You are so weird Mabel." He nodded.
"Yep. So why so mad?"
"I'm not. Excuse me." He then walked past her hoping she would stop her teasing.
Waddles walked up to his owner and oinked at her as she squealed of happiness. "You see Waddles? I always knew they be a couple. I must be a young Love God."
Dipper walked outside getting to breath in the fresh air of the night. It was only ten o'clock and it was already looking beautiful. He only sigh thinking of his sister's taunts hoping she would stop. Her matchmaking does get a bit out of control, especially what she did to Tambry and Robbie.
He was about to walk to the front porch, when sudden little voices were talking. It sounded just like his friend and a man close by. He tip toe to the corner and peek his head out to see his friend with her father as they sat on the couch outside. He knew ease dropping was very wrong but he couldn't help but feel he must do so.
Candy felt a bit awkward being with her father. She hasn't seen him in years and thought she was dreaming when she saw him in the audience. She looked up at him, hoping she wasn't and saw the man who left her and her mother.
He smiled at her and said "I saw you at the pageant. You did great sweetie."
"How... did you know about it?" She asked.
"Your mother called me and said I should come and see you."
"Oh yeah."
He waited for her to speak something else but she prefer the silence. He had his frown on and felt awful. "I guess you're still pretty mad at me huh?"
She rolled her eyes and finally said sarcastically "Oh no. I just keep the memory of the fact that you decided to leave me and mother and you hate us both with a passion."
This ease dropping seemed like a bad idea to Dipper. He thinks e should leave, but he didn't want her to be alone. That's still his friend.
"Candy darling, you know that's not true." Gerald said with hurt in his eyes from that. "I just felt we were being mistreated and I didn't know what else to do."
"But no one was mistreating us. Grenda and her family were only trying to help and you took it as if it was an insult. What I don't understand is why you never explain why you left or why you never wrote to us, even though you didn't say goodbye."
Gerald tried to look his daughter in the eyes. It was hard cause her head was bent down and she was daring herself not to look at him. But he knew she was trying to hold in her tears so she'll be strong.
"I guess you can say I..... I finally found a job that could have help us and I didn't have time to write to you." He said.
Candy finally decided to look up at him. Her eyes were glassy with tears and she was surprised by what he had said. She was lost though. "Wait what?"
He took a deep breath inside himself and said "Yes. It was back in Japan. I moved there and hope to have find a job. I now work at the big company in all of Japan. I train students there into ninjutsu skills so they could become successful ninjas. I intended to write to you and your mother that I have found a good job and you both could come back to Japan with me, but my boss kept me busy. I could barley eat and sleep by helping those students. But I never once had a time where I stopped thinking about you. I missed you and your mother so much."
Dipper could help but feel the tears reach his own eyes. This was such a sad moment and he had to witness it. He never knew anything about Candy's history and now has the answer. He hope he could be a friend to comfort her once he's gone.
Candy herself felt the tears reach her eyes. She tried to hold it in but it was very hard. She took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes. "I don't know what to say."
"I know. And I'm very sorry. I cannot blame you for your hatred of me." He said.
"Well.... I don't think I ever hated you. I guess I just was so sad you left, I thought you hated us. I'm sorry father."
He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her in for a side hug. "You have nothing to be sorry about. It's me who should be apologizing, probably twenty times."
"More like fifty." She joked.
Luckily her joke got him to laughed a little. She them wrapped both her arms around his waist and hugged him with a tear falling down her cheek. He smiled at her and hugged her a bit closer, happy to see her again.
Dipper peek his head to see the two for them and smiled of how it was so sweet to see a father and daughter together once again.
They pulled away from the hug and Gerald said "And you know that boy you were dancing with when you did your talent?"
"Yes?"
"Is he your boyfriend?"
"What?"
BOOM!
The two Korean people had jumped from the sudden boom. They look down at the floor and saw the twelve year old paranoid boy on the wooden. He rubbed his head as he was in pain and finally open his eyes to see them both stare at him. "Oh no."
Candy covered her eyes. She assumed her father was gonna go berserk.
"Well hello there." Gerald said with joy in his tone.
The two kids looked at him confused and were surprise with him. He wasn't mad or anything that was negative.
"I'm glad to see you're here. Please come here." He said to Dipper.
Dipper wasn't sure he should. But he wasn't really gonna disobey him or whatever. With a father involved with a daughter who's his friend, never be rude. "Um, okay."
He walked towards the two of them feeling a bit nervous and looked up at the man. He hoped he won't be as bad as his uncle.
"I want to thank you for giving my daughter another chance on stage and letting her have fun." Gerald said. "I haven't seen her have that much fun with someone pretty amazing as you."
Dipper smiled at him, feeling very honor by him. He never thought he felt safe. But he knew one thing about him that was in secret and was waiting for it to happen.
"Well thank you sir and I am glad I was there for her." He said. "Your daughter is one very special person and is the best friend for anyone to have."
Candy blushed at his compliment and hope all her girl moods were staying inside of her. "Thank you." She said.
"Candy!" They heard Grenda yelled from in the house. "Your mom is here to pick you up!"
Gerald then looked back at his daughter and said "Wait a second Candy."
She looked at him puzzled when she was about to get. She laid back and looked up at him.
"That's a thing I must talk to you and your mother about. I still have the job in Japan but must go back in order to keep it. But the choice is yours. Do you want to come up Japan with me to live there probably forever, or do you want to stay here in Gravity Falls with your mother? I can still try to contact you and your mom and write to you both but I might see you as much."
Candy looked at the ground trying to remember if what we father had just ask was real. She had missed him and understood why he never came back, but Gravity Falls has gotten to attach to her, especially the adventures her and her friends have always had. She would want to return if she did go but couldn't.
It took a few minutes for her to speak and her answer was simple. "As much as I miss you very much, I'm afraid I want to stay here. This is my home and I don't think I want to leave it, and I'm sure writing to you won't be so bad. It's better than being ignored."
"Very well. I'm just glad to see you again Candy," he said. "and I'm very proud of you."
She once again hugged him and it had made the paranoid boy want to cry, especially cause he was witnessing it in person. He sniffed which got their attention for a moment. "Sorry." He said with a smile. "This is a very touching moment. I'll be quiet now."
Gerald chuckled at him finding him very funny.
"Hey Candy!" Grenda yelled once again.
"I better go get my stuff." Candy said standing up.
"Would you mind going to your mother and telling her I want to talk to her?" Gerald asked.
"Sure thing." Candy then walked back into the Mystery Shack leaving Dipper alone with her father.
Dipper looked up at him with a smile but still felt a bit awkward. "I'm glad you came. I think you made Candy's day even better sir."
"Well thank you kid." He said patting his shoulder. He then had a sudden look and ask "So are you dating my daughter?"
"What? Oh no! N-No sir. We-We're just friends. Promise." He stutter with blushing cheeks.
He smiled and said "Well alright. But if you do anything to hurt my daughter, I will make sure I break both your arms."
Dipper only stayed in silence and had a nervous chuckled. "I somehow knew you were gonna say something like that. And understood sir."
Gerald had his smile back and said "Good. Then we have an understanding. Now if you'll excuse me." He then stood up and left the twelve year old boy alone.
Dipper sighed an laid back on the couch. "Friends..."
"I'm guessing my father pulled a threat on you huh?"
He sat back up quickly once he heard Candy come back outside. "Um well kinda. It's nothing."
"Yeah. Sorry about that. On the bright side I'll be able to stay here, even though I could tell I should just be with him."
"I wouldn't be sure about that. My sister and I would be so bored if you left, especially Grenda."
Candy giggled and said "True. Anyways, Dipper Pines, I want to thank you for helping me throughout this whole thing. I really couldn't have done it without you and it was loads of fun."
"Well that's what friends are for. I just hope your father won't accused us of 'anything'."
"You and me both. Tomorrow I will be a bit busy since my father will be hanging with me and my mother for the day."
"Well okay. That's great you'll be able to spend more time with him. And maybe the day after that, we can hang out at the shack or something."
Candy only looked at him with a still face. But then she had a smile on her face and said "Actually that sounds like a good idea. But I get the feeling it will be later since we'll have to take him to the airport."
"That I understand. So how about this? The day after you hang with your dad, around three o'clock, you and I can do whatever you like to do."
"Hmmm sounds good. Into video games?"
"Oh definitely." He winked at her.
"Okay. Deal then." She reached a hand out to him with her eyes closed.
But Dipper felt he didn't need to shake her hand. He had another idea that could possible get him in trouble. He leaned towards her and gave her a sudden kiss.
She lifted her eyes once she felt her lips being pressed lightly against another pair. She blushed an entire face and only watch until their kiss ended.
Dipper pulled away and was blushing too. He chuckled nervously and rubbed his neck. "I'm sorry. I guess-"
"Candy! It's time to go!" Her mother had called for her.
Candy sighed and said "I'll see you later."
"Have fun." He said.
Candy then walked to the front of the Mystery Shack to find her mother and father. Once some lights had disappeared, he knew that now she had gone home. Dipper was smiling very happily and then headed straight inside the shack sighing happily.
He looked down at the ground and saw a little pig smiling at him and oinking a lot. Dipper only laughed as the pig Waddles was laughing at him. "Hey, it was now or never. But I'm guessing I'll have to wait until I'm older."
Waddles only oink and left the boy by himself at the door with a smile on his face.
