Rosalie & Edward // A Love Story

ROSALIE'S POV

"Good morning Lillian," I smiled. "Good morning mum? About the kiss with you and dad, I understand it was nothing. Are you gonna try and get him back?" Lillian asks with concern. "I don't know. Maybe." "I know he loves you, you gotta try." I didn't know what to say. Should I try and get him back so we can be a family together or not?

I decide to take a moment in the forest. I leap through the forest. I realised that I forgot about Emmett, Bella and Renesmee. Bella and Renesmee need Edward. Emmett is my husband. My aim was always to get Edward back. I want to try and set that goal again. And this time, I will get him back. No matter what Bella thinks of me. It doesn't matter. Someone walks through the trees. It's Edward. 

"Rosalie, what are you doing out here?" He asked me with his attractive velvety voice. "I'm just thinking. About Lillian. About you." I finally admitted it. "What about us?" "About how much I love you. You know that right. I have always loved you, even though I haven't showed it. But still." He begins speechless. "I don't know what to say Rosalie?" "Just answer my question. Do you love me too?" It took him almost a minute to answer the question. "I don't know. You hurt me pretty bad. But fine, I do love you." I smiled very happily. 

We were alone under the tall trees. Suddenly, we kissed. "Edward, this isn't fair to either Bella or to me." "How?" "Because your with Bella and Renesmee and your kissing me. And your cheating on Bella." "Since when do you care about Bella?" "I don't, I care about you. So I am giving you a choice. Who will it be; Bella or me? This includes Lillian. She needs a father." "Don't make me choose. It will be Bella anyway." "Fine." He kisses me again.

"See that was unfair. Your still kissing me." I remind him. "Sorry." "You can be with me if you want." "Your convincing me." "Make your choice," I smile. I wrap my arms around his neck. "You mean right now?" He asks me. I almost nod. "Come on Rose, I need some time to think about it." "How long?" "Give me about one year," he begins. "That's too long." "Give me a month to think about it then." "Okay." I kiss him. "Rosalie, we shouldn't be doing this." "But your into it, right?" "Yes, no, I mean yes." "I know what this is. You want to be with me, but it's like your being forced to stay with Bella." "I made a promise to Bella that I will spend eternity with her. I love her." "What if you chose me?" "I don't think I can choose you." "Unbelievable." I leap off. 

I run back up to my room; almost crying. I close my door. A knock starts on the door. "Who is it?" I ask. "It's me," Esme opens the door. "Esme, hi." "What's wrong Rose?" She sits next to me on my bed. "It's umm Edward." "What about Edward?" "You know how Lillian arrived, our daughter," I broke off. "Yeah." "Well, when Edward and I are alone, we kiss privately. I gave him a choice; Bella or I." She goes into shock. "Oh, but didn't he choose Bella?" "No, not yet." "Does Bella know this?" "Not a clue." "Maybe you should go talk to Bella and Edward together. Try to think this out." "But I love Edward. I want to spend eternity with him." "Isn't Bella the one he always wanted?" "I hope not." 

I go back to the forest. I bring my book with me to read; it's a romance book. It's called 'where rainbows end'. I spend about 15 minutes reading. After that, I hear somebody coming towards me. Oh my God. It's..... Royce. I start to run as fast as I can. I couldn't do it. He caught me. 

"Rose, what are you doing here?" He asks me. "Royce, leave me alone." "So what your a vampire too?" "Of course I am, remember when we were engaged, that night you left me stranded on the streets. You were so drunk. You almost killed me. Then Carlisle turned me into one. To get revenge. On you." "You got your revenge. Now it's my turn on you." He grabs me by the collarbone. I scream as loud as I can. "Royce get off of me!!!" I try and get him off. I can't. It's the same thing that happened to me in 1933. "Somebody help!" Somebody runs up to us. 

It's Edward, Emmett, Jasper and Carlisle. They try and get Royce off me. "Keep your hands off her!" Emmett yells. "Take your hands off me!" Royce screams at them. Finally, they got Royce. They ripped off his head. He was gone. Long gone. Edward lit a light and threw it on Royce's body. A fire started. That moment was the scariest moment as a vampire. It would have been known as a rape. Emmett comforts me. "Rose, are you alright? How did he even come here? How's he a vampire?" Emmett asks me loads of questions. "I don't know. How come he never caught me before, why now? How did he find me?" I thought to myself. "Rose, it's going to be fine. Your a strong woman," Jasper said. Edward didn't talk to me. He just glared at me. I starred at him back. Emmett and I headed back to the house. 

"Mum, are you alright?" Lillian asked me as I came back. Emmett's arms were still around me. "It's a long story," I tried to smile. "I can keep up," she replied with her blonde hair flowing like an angel. "Well, you know the story how I was engaged to Royce King. The night he left me stranded on the street. I was reading my book in the forest and suddenly he came back as a vampire. I remember I changed him when I was mad at him. He raped me. But Edward, Emmett, Jasper and Carlisle killed him. Which is great," I tried to explain to her. It was difficult for me to even say it. Royce King was gone. Forever. 

I was fixing up my makeup in my bathroom tonight. Somebody walked in."Rose." I was guessing it was Edward's. The alluring voice sounded exactly like him. I couldn't look because I was in the middle of putting on my eye liner. "Edward is that you?" I question the person. "Yes." "Hi Edward. What's up?" "Everything. I can't stop thinking about you. I'm sorry what happened to you today. Royce deserved it. I'm sorry that I didn't talk to you," he admitted. "There's nothing for you to be sorry for. I'm fine with not talking to you." He was silent for a second. "Rosalie. I love talking to you. Your voice is so beautiful." "But you love Bella. It's always been Bella. I think we should just give eachother some space." I didn't know what to say. "What if I chose you?" Did he choose me? "Did you?" "Not yet, but what if?" "We would have to spend a long time together. That would make my life so happy. You know I love you with all my heart Edward." "But there is something about you that I love about you. Is it your beauty?" "You know what bugs me? How guys just want to date me because I'm beautiful. Cut me some slack. That's why Royce raped me." He was so speechless. "Sorry. It's not just your beauty. It's your personality traits. You are a really kind and polite woman. But I love Bella too." "Who's it gonna be? Me or Bella?"
