Chapter 06: Darkness from within.
3 Weeks Passed...
Colorado, (Unknown)
Lynco Stest.
After that day when i woke up and discovered that i have Jeremy's ability (Speedster) ,i thought life and everything is going to be easy enough. But everything is not the same, No Schools, No Family, No Friends, got no one to talk to. I thought I'm going to be happy, but I'm not. It all came back to me, what happen to Jeremy... What i felt on what happen back there... And deep inside i know something is missing inside me.The memories of me inside that building that where i woke up from, my experimental days.
I tried to find information about an organization who abducts Evolved humans and alters they're ability, but there's no info broker that can find about it. So i keep searching until today, I lived on a big old warehouse now. I manage to live my way, by stealing food on stores or everything that i want. Everyday, i do that drill, then they found me.
I was about to take a rest, when a group of suspicious men found me. They entered the warehouse unarmed, they're about 20 men and another one who wear a chafferone like outfit. The other 20 men are wearing normal suits.
"Good Afternoon and Greetings, Sir Lynco." The guy in the chafferone suit said.
"Who are you? and how did you find me?" Lynco asked.
"My name's Nyle Cean, I'm Dr. Skoll's butler." He bows.
"So? What do you want? How did you find me?" Lynco asked with anger on his tone.
"I'm pretty sure you know what we want. We found you because there's a rumor here on Colorado that a super fast Evo thief is lurking behind the scenes." Nyle explained.
"So you fall under my trap, i did all of that stuff to lure you in, you fiend." Lynco Smiled.
"Oh, no. You're the one who fall into our trap, Dr. Skoll expects you to show up and do a revenge on him for Jeremy's death." Nyle chuckled.
"Oh really..." Lynco mumbled and he ready his fighting stance.
"You have no chance ,Sir Lynco." Nyle said with a butler tone.
"Try me! My ability wouldn't even let you touch me! " Lynco laughed.
"Oh... Wear it already boys! " Nyle clapped.
His mens put on a pair of pitch black colored gloves and they started running towards Lynco.
"No sweat!" Lynco quickly used his ability to run fast towards Nyle's men. Lynco punched the first guy he reached but the guy dodged and he countered Lynco with a blow on the stomach, causing Lynco to sit on the ground. He quickly recovers and he sprint to the terrace of the warehouse.
"What the hell?!" Lynco wipes the blood that slipped on his nose.
"Oopsss! I forgot to tell you, Dr.Skoll's gloves can cancel your Pescruation ability. I know that you will not run away because you need information on us. So you have no choice but to beat us. " Nyle taunts.
Lynco tried to fight them with his speed but Nyle's men are skilled on fighting and thanks to their gloves Lynco's Pescruation is useless. They able to manage Lynco's speedy turns and punches by repeatedly blocking them.
Leaving Lynco no choices, he just runs super fast in circles trying to trap Nyle's men.
"Bwah!"
One of Nyle's men suddenly got chocked and The others suddenly starts feeling hard to breathe.
"I see... By trapping them inside, Oxygen will decrease, making the people inside the circle got chocked to death. " Nyle realized Lynco's plan.
As Lynco keeps running on circles, Nyle's men continue to suffer inside it. Nyle suddenly put his own pair of gloves that can cancel Pescruation ability, he draws his pistol gun out of his coat.
"This is taking too much time."
Nyle suddenly shoots a wall behind him without even looking at it. The bullet bounced and ricocheted three times around the warehouse and suddenly Lynco accidentally slipped on the floor, because he thought he's going to get hit by the bullet that Nyle used .
Lynco quickly stand up again and he headed towards the terrace again. "How did you do that?! How can you... No- It's just a lucky shot!" Lynco said.
" I believe it's not." Nyle said and Lynco starts to run in circles again. Nyle draws another pistol gun again from his suit. With his two gun, he keeps shooting on random target.
"Sir!? What're you doing sir? " one of Nyle's men that recovered said.
Nyle didn't mind him, instead he keeps firing and firing until finally his ammo is empty.
Silenced filled the room, Lynco suddenly stopped running and he sat on the ground near Nyle, heavily breathing.
He wasn't running around to corner them but instead he was running around to evade Nyle's super accurate shots.
"The first time i laid my eyes on you. You've been mark." Nyle stares at Lynco's exhausted face.
"Mark..." Lynco pants because of the exhaustion.
"When i remember a persons face, i can track them wherever they are. No matter how fast they are." Nyle said with a scary stare and tone.
As Lynco catch his breath, he slowly stand up and he cleans his black coated jacket that he is wearing.
" Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't heard you and your drama." Lynco smirked. "You know your bullets really hit me. Bad news! My ability is Autofiring itself. " Lynco smiles.
"What...Does that mean..." Nyle suddenly become silent. "Then...Dr. Skoll's experiment is... SUCCESS!!!" Nyle exclaims with happiness.
Lynco's POV
I don't know, what he's talking about, but i finally got a way to stop them. Their gloves are the only parts that can touch me so... How about their bodies? I gotta think of a way to use my abilities to the next level.
"Game over, Nyle! " i shouted and i ran towards Nyle using my ability and i punch him to his stomach using my Pescruation ability. But something that wasn't supposed to happen, happened.
"SIR!!!"
My hands just pass through Nyle's stomach and when i removed it, my hand was full of blood... Nyle's stomach got a hole on his body and Nyle fell on the ground, blood soaked the floor, he coughs and blood blurted out of his mouth ,and finally he stopped moving.
He's dead...
His men are shocked but the real one who is in shocked is me..
Blood in my arms... Seeing Seeing my arms covered in blood scares me... Did i just kill a person? Did i mean it? While i was ventilating, one of Nyle's men attacked me while tears appeared out of his eyes.
He punched me to the face, but his fist phase through and resulting like what happened to Nyle he's hand got chopped of and he suddenly fell to the ground terrified because of what happen.
Another one of Nyle's men attacked me and i suddenly evade the attack . I slashed his hips with my bloody left hand, his body was send flying behind me, blood splurted out from his upper body while the lower part fell and blood spilled on the floor. I didn't notice that...
I'm smiling...
What am i... Is this what i felt when Jeremy died? But why am i... I got it. I don't wanna feel useless anymore. I'm tired of being unable to help. So I'm gonna do this, even if I'm going to be the devil. It's always a necessary evil.
"No hesitations. I'm gonna kill you all, It's my little payback."
