That night both of them head a heart to heart talk which is very unusual for them since they always spend their time in fighting. She slept holding his arm as If it's her favourite toy while Manik was just adoring his sleeping beauty.
It was midnight around 03:30 Manik woke up only to find nandini missing. He could not help but shout her name aloud
The only one thing that crossed his mind was what if Harshad did something to her?
Manik : nandini I will not be able to live with out you. I will find you by hook or crook
He started searching her from one end of the boat to the other. That is when he noticed that the boat is halted near a small island. For a second he could not register anything that is happening around him
The whole surroundings are decorated with lights. In the middle of island There is a big lighted board in which happy birthday Manik was arranged with beautiful lights
There are fireflies everywhere around the island. In the middle is a table with food and chairs opposite to each other. The roof of the table is covered with curtains which are elegant
It is a simple yet perfect date any girl /guy would ask for
He soon got out of the boat and started walking along the island when he heard a voice from a speaker! It's the voice which he is longing to hear
Nandini : Manik I know tum mujhse bahut gussa ho please mujhe maaf kardo!
Manik could not help but smile at her foolish antics
Manik : Acha fine maaf kardiya ab tho bahar aajao
He shouted so that she can hear him
Hearing this she sighed in relief and came out. Her looks were enough to make Manik mum
Manikspov : She was looking heavenly in her red dress. She is not less than any princess. Yes she is a princess, only my princess
Nandini : Manik don't say anything. not even a word pehle meri baat suno.
Ye tumhara pehla birthday hai mere saath. I mean pehla birthday after growing up
I just want to make it special so here we are. I don't know ki ye sab kuch tumhe kaisa laga but tum mere saath ho that is enough for me
Manik : sshhhh! He placed finger on her lips tum mere liye kuch karo aur mujhe Acha na lage aisa ho hi nahi saktha and frankly speaking ye mera life ka sabse best birthday hai! I mean it
She just fused her lips with his to express her unsaid love
Nandini : Manik I love you and ye kiss friends with benefits ki tarah nahi hai. It's a kiss of blissful love
Manik : nandini I love you more and it keeps on increasing every minute
They stayed in that position till their moment got disturbed by nandinis growling stomach and she was totally embarrassed
Nandini : ummm vo tumhare birthday preparations mein I didn't eat since yesterday. I know it's midnight but mein aur bhooki nahi reh sakthi so please mere liye khaana kaalo
Aur ye Sara khaana maine tumhare liye banaya hai so please shall we eat
She said all this in one go without making any eye contact
He slowly lifted her chin up
Manik : nandini look at me. Sabse pehla baat mai tumse bahut gussa hun for not eating anything since a day but for you I will control it
Aur doosri baat u need not be embarrassed infront of me because we are not two people we are one from now.
If something hurts you it hurts me a lot than you. Any problem should face me before it comes you
Tears were flowing from nandinis eye's
Manik : madam agar rona dona hogaya tho Chale?
He was on his knees "so my ladylove shall we go "?
She placed her hand on his "yeah sure my man"
