Frankis' POV-
Streaming light flooded the room and all was silent except for the faint sound of Sal mumbling as I had my head rested on his chest and my legs tangled around his. Turning my gaze toward my husband I noticed him smile widely as he mumbled my name. Making a pouting fish face I placed a hand over my mouth stifling my laugh.
"My goofball." I whispered as I leant over and pressed my lips to his softly.
Gracefully, carefully I rolled out of my side of the bed. Glimpsing back to check if Sal was still sleeping; which he thankfully was. My line of vision extended as I took in the entire room. Q and Katie were gone and I didn't notice until now. What the fuck?
Strolling toward the breakfast bar I noticed a poorly scrawled note, obviously left for me or Sal by Brian.
Gone to give Katie a tour of our wedding venue. Message me when you're awake and we'll do lunch and drinks.
Grinning I imagined Katies expression on seeing the venue Q had chosen, admittedly he was never the lovely dovey type but I sensed he'd planned something amazing. Although it was unlike him not to tell either Sal or I so that sent my spidey senses tingling a mile a minute. I had a feeling we should be preparing ourselves for something amazing and for Katies sake I hoped it was everything she deserved.
Sneaking into the bathroom I closed the door as I felt a turn in my stomach. Staring at myself in the mirror everything went hazy and at that moment the next thing I knew was the feeling of cold and dark. Vivid visions of color danced through the darkness then I heard Sals voice.
Opening my eyes I felt myself being shaken gently and Sal was kneeling above me. Smiling our eyes met.
"I don't feel well." I whispered reaching up and stroking his bearded cheek.
Without a word spoken Sal hugged me tightly, his heart pounding in his chest.
"You passed out." He breathed out.
Being released from Sals bear hug I sat up and laughed.
"Must've been something I ate, I feel fine now my love. We gotta message Brian and meet him and Katie in town." I changed the subject brushing off whatever had just happened.
"Oh ok then." Sal said not believing me for a second as he climbed to his feet and extended a hand to help me up.
Allowing Sal to lift me I flew to my feet and unsteadily toppled forward into his arms.
"Oh Mr Vulcano I believe I'm clumsy for you." I laughed.
"I got you trippin'?" He laughed.
"Yes, I believe it's way past trippin' though, I've fully fallen. Hopelessly almost." I added.
"Well that's fine my angel use your wings to fly." Sal continued.
Feeling my eyes welling up at the moment I buried my face in Sals chest and breathed in the smell of his cologne.
"I love you Francesca... if anything happened to you, you know I'd be lost right?" Sal quizzed before planting a kiss atop my head.
Now bawling and unable to speak I simply nodded, small whimpers escaping me. Sal noticed my state and let me lose from his hold.
"Let's get ready and go meet Q and Katie." He suggested taking my hand and leading me to get ready.
Katies' POV –
Moon Palace was a sight to behold. Quinn had done well and since we had now agreed on the venue everything was locked in. Next week I'd be Mrs. Brian Quinn and I was beginning to get overly excited.
