Katie's POV –

Sitting to lunch with Bessy and Franki I knew it was time to fill both girls in on all the plans Quinn and I had decided upon. I'd just picked the dress and accessories with a moodier than usual Franki, but I didn't let her bitch switch being on today ruin my time.

The three of us ordered drinks; Bessy got a soda, I ordered a scotch on the rocks and Franki ordered a sparkling water. Well by the look of it I was drinking alone.

"Seriously you bitches better get your party on for my hens night." I announced.

Bessy grinned widely and Franki was busy, obviously lost in a deep train of thought.

"Seriously my brides maids have to drink with me." I explained.

With that a shocked Bessy jumped up and hugged me tightly.

"It'll be my pleasure to stand beside you on your big day Katie." She chirped.

Franki smiled and nodded. "Same." She added.

"I wasn't going to pick a maid of honor but Franki, you're my best friend and you've always been there throughout mine and Brians relationship." I explained.

Leaping toward me Franki embraced me in a big hug.

"I sure will K, but right now I gotta go." She stated. "I'll see you back at the room tonight."

With that Franki placed a fifty on the table and quickly walked away from us.

"A fifty for a soda water?" Bessy quizzed.

"I don't know what she's fucking doing, she's been moody, bitchy and distant all day. Sort of zoned out. But forget it, we're planning my wedding. I hate to say it but I have no time to think about much else... Quinn has given me a really short time to have everything ready." I ecplained.

I knew it sounded like I was being a selfish bitch, but I wasn't. Bridezilla wasn't a word in my vocabulary. Yes, I wanted the day to be perfect but I wasn't being unreasonable with the people surrounding me. I just didn't have time to focus on anything but wedding plans and spending time with Quinn. It was as simple as that.

Bessy and I ended our lunch and I decided to return to my room. Walking up the concrete path toward our room I noticed a man sitting outside crying. A familiar man. Approaching I noticed it was Sal. Taking the seat next to him I place an assuring hand softly on his shoulder.

"Oh, hi Katie." Sal sniffled his eyes red.

"What's up buddy?" I queried.

"Oh nothing... well nothing I'm prepared to discuss right now." He explained wiping his eyes on the sleeve of his hoodie.

"Awww c'mon Salvatore. You can trust me." I soothed.

Biting his bottom lip Sal momentarily fell silent. "I can't talk about it, it's something to do with Franki and you have to understand my head and heart are processing it. It's overwhelming really and I will talk to you or Q when the time is right."

Embracing Sal in a hug I swore in that moment I knew what was happening. I felt my soft facial expression turn to a grimace. Yes I loved my best friend and maid of honour but it was now so clear to me. The distance, the bad attitude and now this. Franki was cheating on Sal.

Walking into the room I slammed my bag down on the bar. Quinn was laying atop the bed and looked at me puzzled as I threw myself on the bed beside him with an aggravated grunt escaping me.

"Bad day Mrs. Quinn?" Q quizzed as I rolled and flopped an arm over him.

"Ugh... I seriously don't get it. One one hand we got Bessy and Joe, yeah they fight but their marriage seems amazing but then there's the trainwreck that is Sal and Franki. They fight, they almost split up, they fuck like rabbits now it seems Franki is cheating on Sal. Have you seen him, he's outside the room crying. He claims he's overwhelmed and she's to blame. He can't believe it, he can't understand it... Quinn she's gotta be cheating." I rambled.

Q laughed. "Stop assuming my love... it could be anything. Sal's a sensitive guy for all we know she could've accidentally stepped on his foot."

Sighing I rolled my eyes and rolled away from Q. "I get feelings about things and I'm rarely wrong."

Q rolled me back toward him and pinned me to the bed. "Fine, you could be right although I don't think so and you shouldn't doubt your friend. But... on saying that, if you are right I'll do that kinky thing you like and that's all I'll do."

Staring into Quinn's wicked gaze I smirked devilishly.

"So we're betting on our best friends breaking up now are we?" I inquired.

Q shrugged. "No I'm just positive you're wrong to the point I'm offering an entire evening of cunnilingus with nothing else; no blowjob for me and no penetration. Just I eat you 'til you can't take anymore."

"Asshole, you'd enjoy that." I laughed as Q placed cheeky kisses in a line down my check.

Slowly Q unbuttoned my blouse and planted some kisses over my cleavage.

"As I said, it'll all eventually reveal itself Katie... but right now all I want to reveal is your beautiful body."

"Happy to oblige." I giggled as I slid out of my pants.

Franki's POV –

Leaving Katie and Bessy at lunch I felt a lump forming in my throat but I needed to know right now. Heading back to the hotel room with the brown paper bag from the drug store I poked my head into the room to check for Q, who wasn't there.

Laying on the bed I called Sal's phone.

"I need you now." I frantically begged.

Half an hour after I called Sal came through the hotel room door, concern spread across his face.

"What... are you ok? What happened?" Sal panicked grabbing me checking over every inch of my body.

"I'm fine health wise. I'm also grumpy, sad, bitchy, mean, hungry and about two weeks late." I announced.

Sal hugged me tightly. "You're always a little moody and if you're hungry let's go eat." He innocently suggested.

Raising an eyebrow I sat myself on the bed waiting for it to sink in.

"Wait... did you say you're late?" Sal quizzed.

Nodding I handed him the brown paper bag. Opening the bag Sal begun pulling out the tests I'd completed in the last half hour all positive.

"I guess we're going to be parents." I chirped.

Sal swopped me up in his arms as he began to cry tears of joy.

"But the doctors all said..." He began before I pressed a finger to his lips.

"I know what they said, seems they were wrong. We've been blessed, we can start growing our beautiful family." I whispered.

Sal kissed me deeply as his body shook. Pulling out of the kiss I stroked my fingers through his thick dark hair.

"I can't wait to announce this." Sal cheered.

Shaking my head I clutched Sal's hands and stared him in the eye.

"No, we can't not yet... let Katie and Brian have their dream wedding. I don't want to ruin it. We have to keep this close to our chests for now."

With that Sal nodded, kissed me again and left the room. My chest felt less tight, I felt relieved but part of me sensed something was about to go seriously wrong one way or another.
