(A/n: the picture above is showing where the party is being held. Enjoy chapter 6!)
'No no no. No fucking way. It can't be him. I mean, what are the fucking chances? The one guy I decide to meet on the internet knows my brother and is now standing in front of me? The chances of that happening are a gazillion to one, but of course, it just HAS to happen to me.'
These thoughts raced through my mind continuously, to the point where the only thing keeping me sane was staring into Sammy's deep, brown eyes. His blonde hair had a messy bed look to it, and I wanted nothing more than to run my fingers through it. His lips were a soft shade of pink and were the most kissable-looking lips I had ever laid my eyes on. He looked like a god. A sex God. A model. A perfect guy. He was incredible.
And he was staring back at me.
The way he looked at me made goosebumps rise on my skin that starting in the back of my neck and working all the way down to my toes. He looked quite shocked as well and I was pleased to see that he seemed to be staring at me in awe. But how could he be here? And more importantly, why was he here with my brother?!
Shit! Gavin!
My older brother of course had to be standing right next to me in the moment of meeting my dream guy.
He was still standing next to Sammy throughout our intense stare down. He looked somewhat confused and I did not want him to know that we briefly knew each other over the course of two nights, that ended in us "fucking" over FaceTime. He couldn't know that I resorted to meeting Sammy online through some dumb website, so I decided to be the one to play it off cool..or at least as cool as I could make it.
"So uh Gav, are you um just gonna stand there, or introduce us?" I asked, with a sassy tone.
"Oh right," he chuckled. "Sam, this is my sister Olivia, Olivia, this is my best friend from school, Sam," he responded.
"You guys go to the same school? Oh cool," I casually responded, noticing every once in a while that Sammy was still staring at me in, what looked like, shock. I thought back to what school he had claimed to have attended. Some boarding school...
"Yea we met through the the shadowing program, he came into the school two years ago as a sophomore, while I was a junior and he shadowed me for two days. We just became bros after that," Gavin responded which prompted Sam to nod his head along with the story.
"Ok well you guys should get to know each other some more, I'll be back in like five seconds, I wanna get a drink," Gavin said, which caused me to raise my eyebrows at him, making him glumly finish his sentence with, "of water." Because Gav was such a serious athlete, I figured he never partied or drank, but then again, he probably thought I was his innocent baby sister. I guess we all got surprised tonight in the end.
Suddenly I saw Gavin stroll back over, "hey uh no fucking while I'm gone." Gav laughed it off, and looked from Sammy and then back to me. He was 110% joking, but all I could think was 'oops.'
As Gavin got far enough away, Sammy spoke for the first time tonight. His voice sounded like heaven and all I wanted to do was jump into his arms right in that moment.
"Babygirl, you didn't tell me you had a brother."
"You never asked," I smirked back at him.
"So it really is you? Wow. Holy shit," he said. (I had assumed he could tell by my sass, or by the way I didn't freak out when he called my babygirl.) "By the way, you're ten times as beautiful in person. I mean, you're fucking stunning," Sammy went on, causing a soft pink blush to rise upon my cheeks. He followed that up by taking a couple steps closer to me so we were almost cheek on cheek and said, "I can't believe it's actually you."
He was so close to me and his plump lips were right there. I wanted nothing more than to attack him with kisses and take it upstairs to one of the many bedrooms the large house had, but I knew better, and also, I wasn't that drunk. Sammy began looking from my eyes to my lips, then back to my eyes and then down to my lips again as he started to lean in closer, so I snaked my hands around the back of his neck. I was about to kiss him...but then my hands were removed from his neck abruptly, by Sammy who simply coughed to cover the intimate moment up. At first I shot him a bitch stare for what he just did, but he looked at me and then to my brother who was standing behind me. 'Fucking Gavin. Do you have to ruin everything?' I thought to myself.
"Hey guys. I don't see any scars...and I was gone for a solid five minutes soooooo does that mean my best bro and my sister are gonna be friends? That's awesome," Gavin said cheerfully. It was evident to me that he must have downed a couple shots before walking back over with his "water" due to his sudden cheerfulness, somewhat slurred speech and flushed pink cheeks.
His excitement caused both Sammy and I to stifle a nervous laugh, as Gavin began pulling Sammy away. I could see him mouth something as he got farther and farther away, and all I could make out was "meet later."
To sum things up, I knew I'd definitely be looking for him later. So much had just happened, I didn't know what to do next besides take a shot and sigh out of anxiousness.
Eventually I got bored of just standing around aimlessly, so I went over and stood by the bar, sipping on my second beer of the night, while thinking of all the things Sammy would do to me "later."
