Hi this is my second book (but it may be the first book I publish). Leave comments and enjoy!

Short Character Introduction

I'm Hyna and on a normal day you can find me hiding in the corner of the guild Fairy Tail. That is if you had an amazing ability to see around invisibility spells. When I was younger my village was under attack from a group of powerful bandits. Me and my mother were the only ones to escape from their clutches. My mother was a powerful healing Mage. She also dabbled in a few other realms of magic. She was already drained of most of her power healing the villagers but she just barely had enough magic left to cast a healing spell on me. Shortly after she died.

I live in the guild because no one in their sane mind would sell a house to an invisible girl. If I strain all my willpower I can become visible for up to half of an hour. I have a rare type of copy magic. If I read of someone in a book that can per say fly, then I can automatically fly. I train with taking one magical ability from one character and then a separate power from a different character. I go on requests once a week to pay for food--I take the food then leave the money for it on the counter where Mira can find it. The only people who know I exist is Master and Mira.

Chapter One: Crossing Paths

As usual I was sitting I'm my private corner halfway through a book when I remembered that it was time for me to do my weekly request ever since I had read a book in which the main character could telepathically communicate I haven't really said much. I took down a request that would require only an hour or two and I would get two million jewel from it. I told Master where I was going then I headed out.

On my way out the door I was considering what power might be the most useful do I wasn't watching where I was going. I walked straight into Natsu. Ever since he joined like ten years ago I've had a massive crush on him. So as soon as I walked into him--as you can probably imagine--I started apologizing like crazy. Of course he couldn't see me so he looked around like crazy. I overrode the spell so he didn't think he was crazy.

"Who are you," he asked looking at me weirdly. I could feel my checks starting to burn with embarrassment. My form flickered back into invisibility when I stopped concentrating.

"I'm Hyna," I responded flickering back into visibility.

"I haven't seen you around before. Are you new?" Natsu asked looking me over with his beautiful hazel eyes. I silently scolded myself for losing my focus.

"No you probably just haven't noticed me," I respond hoping that he will step aside so I can carry on with my tedious life on boredom.

"Why were you invisible?" Natsu asked looking me over again. I guess I didn't get my wish. I scolded myself for not being happy because I've dreamed of the day that Natsu Drageneel noticed me.

"My mom put a spell on me a long time ago I don't like to talk about it," I respond tears welling in my eyes. "I really need to head out and do this job," I tell Natsu waving the papers dramatically.

"Are you going alone!" He asked incredulously. Liking down at the paper that I clutched in my hand.

"Yes." I wavered back into invisibility because the strain was becoming too much.

"Let me go with you!"

"Natsu."

"Please ill just tag along as support!"

"Fine," I relented.

"Yay, I gotta go tell my friends you wanna come with?" Natsu asked forgetting that I was invisible. When he turned around to ask me he looked around frantically.

"Hyna?" He called desperately.

"I'm right here Baka," I scolded flickering for just a second.

"Oh right. Come, I'll show you my friends!"

"But Natsu-"

"Come on it will only take a minute." I relented and grabbed his outstretched hand she he would know where I was without me eating up my magic supplies. He lead me over to the table closest to my corner.

Lucy saw us coming over and scooted over for Natsu to sit. He just shook his head.

"What's wrong Natsu?" She asked.

"Nothing, I just wanted you guys to meet our newest member," he said smiling over at me.

"Natsu what are you talking about there's nobody there!" Ezra scolded looking straight through me.

"Hyna you can show your self now," Natsu said over to me. I felt all the groups eyes pressing on me. I was so stressed that I dropped Natsu's hand and ran out of the guild. Natsu looked around then caught my scent leading outside.

"Hyna wait up!" He called after me.

"Flame brain has finally lost it," Gray muttered to Happy.

"Aye," he muttered in return staring at Natsu's receding vest.

I had felt so pressured that I ran to the one spot I went when I was feeling sad. I returned to the place where mom had condemned me to a life of invisibility.  I had buried her near a tall oak tree.  There was a single rose laying on top of her mound of dirt.  I always was visible when I came to this spot for some reason.  I crouched near the edge of her grave and started to cry.  I cried because I had possibly lost the only friend I had and because I felt so alone without anyone to understand.

I was crying so hard that I didn't realize that Natsu had come and sat down next to me.
