Chapter 3 - Love and Pain Is Like Ship and Ocean

He laughed and helped you to stand up. "I'm sorry. I don't know if it was you," you said. "I can't see clearly."
He smiled. "That's okay. No problem. Um.. Where's your glasses by the way?"
"I broke it. I accidentally dropped it and step on it," you lied, again.
"That means you need a new glasses."
"Yeah, I'm about to buy the new glasses now."
He raised his eyebrows. "Alone? With your eyes that cannot see clearly like you going alone?" he also raised his tone.
You giggle. "He he... Yes."
"Tsk.. tsk.. tsk.. It was quite dangerous. What if you are approached by a stranger, or you have a trouble crossing the street?"
"Stop act like my mother," you said.
He sighed then held your hand. "Come on, I'll accompany you buying the new glasses."
"Huh? Wait! But..."
"Don't worry, I'm a nice person. I'm a nice person especially and only for you," he cut your sentence slowly.
You can't see him clearly but you clearly see there's a kindness and a soft heart of him. The way he held your hand was make you a little bit nervous and your heart was beating so fast, but you don't want to let go.
"Excuse me," he said as he suddenly embrace your body and pulled you closer to him, your body pressed his body and your cheeks officialy turned red. "Be careful," he said then he crossing the busy street.
"Thank you," you said when both of you already in the side of the street. "I've got some agyrphobics, I'm afraid to across the street."
"Any time," he smiled and grabbed your hand again. "Come on."
A few moments later, you're arrived at the optician. When you got there we immediately tell the condition about your eye's when the doctor asked. Then they find glasses that suit you.
"Miss, we're already got your glasses but we must set it first and it took almost one hour. Do you mind to waiting?" said one employee.
You and Seungcheol stared each other.
"How about if we eating? I'm so hungry," he suggested.
"Oh, okay then," you agreed and said you'lle be back here an hour later.
Both of you went outside and looked for some food court.
After a few minutes, you sit on your table after order your food.
Suddenly you remember about Joshua and it makes you feel down and sad anymore. You sighed and you're almost crying again. But you must hold it, you don't want to look so sad or weak in front of him.
He stared at you and you caught it. "Excuse me?" you asked.
"So?" he asked you back
You raised one of your eyebrows. "What?"
"The reason why you're crying at the rooftop," he replied.
You sighed and burry your face on your palm. "I don't want to talked about it."
"Really?"
You sighed and you only staring at the table. "I've broken hearted."
He's listening.
"I had a crush on my own best friend but I never told him. Then a few days ago he told me that he had a crush with a girl who wore a glasses, I'm pretty sure that the girl it was me," you sighed and almost tearing up. "But I was wrong, there's another girl, the girl who wore the glasses like me, prettier than me or maybe she's the perfect girl in his life."
Seungcheol didn't say anything. He just watched you crying in front of him but he can feel your sadness.
You sobbing and wipe your tears. "I'm.. I'm sorry for crying in front you," you said. "I'm really sorry."
He smiled slowly. "That's okay, don't ever think that you're weak just because you're crying," he said. "Just like what Bay Max said, 'It's okay to cry. Crying is a normal response to pain.' "
You stares him and slowly you smiled. "Thank you."
"So, you really love him," he said.
"Well, yes. But now is impossible for me to 'take' him back."
"Hmmm.. I know your feeling, I know your sadness. When you're in love, you must prepare yourself to face the pain sometimes. Love and pain, geez~ the distance are so thin," he said as he rested his chin on his hand. "Love and pain is like a ship and the ocean. The ship is the love an the ocean is the pain. Suddenly the ship hit the ice berg and the water destroyed the ship, like the pain destroyed your heart and feeling, but you must swimming out from the ocean to survive," then he stares at you. "You must swimming, you must survive and wait the other ship to rescue you."
You almost tearing up when you heard his explanation, you never thought that he is so mature. How he can be so nice and sweet like this? You compeletely speechless. "I.. I think I can't say anything," you said.
"That's good because our food is come and no talking while we're eating or you will choked, got it?" he smiled when the menu is coming.
You smiled widely. "I like all of your words."

"Wear it! Wear it!" Seungcheol clapped his hand when you're already take the glasses from the optican one hour later.
You look confused at his reaction. "What's wrong with you?" you smiled.
"I want to see you with your glasses."
"You already see me when I wear it in the class, right?"
"Well, yes, but you know right if I always late? So I can't see you a little bit longer."
You laughed at him. "Tomorrow."
"What? Now! Please!"
"It's getting dark and I want you to see me cleary," you replied. "Understand?"
Seungcheol pouted. "Okay, then."
"With one condition!" you shouted.
"What? I must come earlier tomorrow?"
"Aha! Exactly!" you replied and he smacked his forehead with his palm as loud as possible which make you burst on laugh.
"I know I shouldn't say that!" he screaming.
"Oh come on~" you poke his arm. "Just tomorrow."
He glared at you and then sighed. "Okay. I will come earlier tomorrow."
You smiled and your heart beating fast when he suddenly wink at you.
