So a few weeks ago I found this poem that really spoke to me. It's called Liar. Here it is:
He doesn't realize that every time he lies,
He's committing suicide in front of me.
He's killing everything I see in him.
If only he could honest be,
Because God knows I hate to watch him bleed.
I have searched high and low for the author to no avail. If anyone finds out who the author is, please contact me so I can give him or her credit.
Back to the poem though. It kills me to think that someone was this hurt that they published a poem like this. It's hauntingly beautiful and nothing less than perfect. Although I have never been cheated on or lied to immensely by someone I care about, I couldn't ignore something this deep and I wanted to share it with you.
Moral of the Chapter: Don't lie and cheat. It kills what people think of you, and if they care about you, it will kill them too. Don't get caught up in that crazy mess of lies and broken hearts. Be faithful, honest, and loving to the people you care about. Never let someone important to you leave you because you made a stupid mistake.
