A Hidden Love Story

Chapter 4

-New Years Eve-

Louis and Harry opened the door to their temporary hotel room, the sudden wave of heat hitting them as they entered. They looked around at the luxurious suite 

"Babe, you didn't have to do this." Harry smiled, walking through the suite's hallway to their bedroom.

"Well duh, of course I did love." Louis smiled as they reached the doorway of the bedroom. Inside was a maroon colored kingsize bed with a grey dresser on one side of the room and the other side leading to a bathroom. Harry immediately walked over to the window, looking over the skyline of the city. "Look at this, Lou. It's so beautiful." he said softly, resting his hand against the glass.

Louis watched Harry before walking over next to him. He stared ahead at the skyline. "Not as beautiful as my boy." he whispered quietly, not knowing if Harry had heard him. Harry glanced over at him, smiling softly in indication that he had heard.

"Do we have to stay in here all night? I don't know how we'd go outside together in New York City." Harry asked.

"Why go out there when we can have our own little party in here, just the two of us?" Louis smiled warmly. He looked behind him and grabbed a piece of paper off one of the nightstands. "We could order so much food..."

Harry turned around, watching Louis scan the menu. "It's just gonna be you and me right?" Harry questioned, looking down at the floor. Last year, Louis had invited a bunch of his friends over, they got drunk at their house, and Louis left with them to go out, leaving Harry alone on New Years Eve.

"Just you and me, love" Louis mumbled as he continued to scan the list of food. 

"Are you okay? You've been acting weird since the flight." Harry asked, walking over to Louis and placing his hands on his shoulders. Louis jumped a little at Harry's sudden touch from behind. He placed the menu down and turned around to face Harry.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine! Now come on, let's go check out the shower." Louis smiled as he ran towards the bathroom. Harry shrugged slightly at Louis' attitude, but followed him into the bathroom. Louis glanced around. The shower was huge, with a place to sit inside of it. "Oohhhh." Louis said in awe, turning to Harry.

"'S really nice in here." Harry agreed, taking a look around himself. "Hotel's really nice too."

"It is." Louis said. He looked at Harry. "We have all day, what do you wanna do?" He asked Harry, grabbing his hand and swinging their arms back and forth.

"Hmm.. Well we can't leave the room so we're kinda limited." Harry sighed, squeezing Louis' hand. 

"That's okay, babe." Louis smiled to cheer Harry up. He brought him towards the cabinet under the huge flatscreen TV. "Let's pick out a movie for later!"

Harry nodded and smiled softly. "Okay, Lou." he said, kneeling down in front of the cabinet full of movies. Louis kneeled down beside him. "What kind of movie are you in the mood for?" Louis asked.

"A porno." Harry joked, laughing at himself. "Really though, I don't care, Lou. 'M probably gonna fall asleep anyway." Harry sighed, resting his head on Louis' shoulder. Louis rubbed Harry's back.

"As long as we can cuddle each other." he smiled down at Harry on his shoulder. Louis skimmed through the variety of choices in the cabinet. "Hm... What about this one, love?" he asked, pointing to the movie 'Love Actually'.

"Yeah, that's my favorite!" Harry nodded, quickly getting up and launching himself onto the bed. Louis giggled as he watched Harry get excited. He opened the movie and slipped it into the movie player, moving to the bed and grabbing the remote. Harry immediately curled into Louis' side. He played with Louis' fingers as the previews started to play and simply held his hand as the movie started. Louis smiled to himself when Harry got extremely cuddly with him. He loved when Harry was like this. Louis wrapped his arm around Harry's side, holding him close enough to feel his warmth.
