I hastily turn around behind me to see one of my best friends in the world bowing slightly to me in a regal manner.
Couldn't he have knocked?

No POV
Daisuke goes back in in a straight position looking at Sina's shocked expression.
" Sorry, I guess you didn't expect it to be me, huh?"
Still slightly shocked, Sina makes an attempt to regain her composure with a slight blush on her cheeks.
"Umm, to be honest not really...I thought you would have asked someone else...you know...like Narumi?"
He makes a confused face before in a second changes to a concerned expression "I liked you a lot Sina...ever since you first transferred...even now, you're still so pretty and kindred..."
Sina stops listening after a while thinking of Narumi before being cut off from her thoughts.
"...I could never really love Narumi anyway..."
"Why not?"
It's not that there is anything wrong with Narumi, I love her too...but in a sisterly sort of way; besides she isn't my type."
You felt horrible; your best friend in the entire world was going to be crushed if she were to hear this but even more so over the fact that he had these feelings for you. possibly threatening the friendship between you.
"And what about me? are you sure that you haven't misread your feelings?"
He takes on a stern expression and makes his way closer; touching your cheek gently.
"I didn't" is all he says before closing in on your lips.
