-Dylan's POV-
I went through the next two classes wondering about the three new woods siblings. Somehow they erked me but at the same time I felt like I already knew them. Shaking my head of thoughts I made my way towards lunch letting the noise of screeching chairs and people talking overwhelm me. I scanned the lunch tables for shana an found her sitting a a round booth with non other then erin. I blinked and made my way to there table and shana and Erin greeted me politely.
"Hey Dylan!" They both said and I said hi. "Oh we were just talking about Erin joining are ballet class. I nodded. "That would be cool." I say and Erin beamed but her smile turned into a smirk as James and Riley slid in the booth next to her. I noticed me and Erin were the only ones not eating. I looked at the other people's plates and decided to skip lunch today.
I opened my white jansport bag an handed Riley and James there scripts. James chuckled and Erin let out a giggle. "Wha.." I asked and Erin pointed to the title. "The real story of little red." I rolled my eyes and skimmed thought the packet and laughed. "I'm gonna try out for the big bad wolf." James and Riley both declared at the same time and it sent Erin into near hysterics for laughing so hard. "Why is that funny," James muttered sliding the script into his backpack. "Oh...n-nuthing," Erin said choking back her laughter. Riley grimaced and also stuffed the script in his backpack.
"Oh well I'm gonna try out for little red." I declared twisting a peice of my long red curls with my finger. Shana squealed excitedly having taken my script while I was talking pointed to a part in the middle where little red and the big bad wolf actually ended up falling for each other. I blushed a deep red and took the script back shoving it deep inside my backpack. Riley looked over eyebrows raised. I shrugged looking down.
Riley grinned at me from across the table. "So what is fun to do around this town anyhow. And why is it named Paige brook. I shrugged. "I don't really know, but there isn't that much stuff to do in this town. It's not even on any maps, I'm actually surprised you guys moved here." The next couple minutes I spent explaining to Riley about are town and how everyone knew everyone so it was hard to remain un-noticed.
" sooooo," shana says to James and I peeked over at the two of them. James barely looked over at her, his eyes said he was interested but whole body rigid and saying he wanted nothin to do with her. "I was thinking if you guys wanted to hang with me,Dylan, and Erin after school.... That would be great." James rolled his eyes and from my point of view he was a total jerk. " If i have nothing better to do, eh, maybe," he said nonchalantly and with a bored tone. Erin looked like she wanted to say something about his rudeness but kept her mouth shut. But I didnt.
"Um james..." I say batting my lashes. He looks over a brow raised body relaxing a little bit and a normal smile returning it caught me off guard but I kept my ground. "It isn't jerk of the month week so stop acting like your running for a candidate. Shana let out a small cough. "It's okay dyl." She says using my nickname. I shook my head.
"And another thing, unless you show up to hangout with us, with an apology? ,You can consider yourself not going." James shook his head and leaned back arms folded and jaw locked not saying anything. Erin looked down at her lap and Riley texted underneath the table.
Me and shana looked at each other and both slid out of the booth. I asked Erin if she wanted to come but she just shook her head softly and we bolted off. "Sooo...that was.... Um yea...." Shana murmured and I nodded. The bell rang and I promised shana i'd text her during class and she rushed off. I sighed. My next two classes I had with Erin and then my last elective I again had with James, riley and shana. perfect, it was just my luck that the only two classes that i could have with them were electives and they had my same electives. I glared at the floor realizing this would be a long day.

By the end of seventh hour I was really suprised and a little beside myself. i had a couple questions for Riley seeing as how James had not shown up for our seventh hour photography class. The bell rang and shana popped out of her seat and ran over to Riley and I folowed. "Where's james?" She asked arms folded jaw locked. I couldn't help but notice how her and James carried themselves in the same way. Riley chuckled. "Prior engagement." Was all he said. Shana rolled her eyes tugging at a peice of her dark brown almost black hair.
"Whatever... Are you coming to hangout with us or not?" She asked. "Wouldn't miss it." Riley said looking at me. Shana nodded and pushed up the sleeves of her red shirt and walked out the door white shoes squeaking as she grabbed her black jansport. "You know, she's hasn't even looked at a guy for Years . . . It might not seem like what James did today was that wrong but it was uncalled for. Riley nodded.
"I know, I talked to him." I finally let out a small smile. "Good." Riley smile and grabbed his black backpack and held out a hand to me. I thought it was to help pull him up so I did but he didn't let go once he was up.
I blushed deeply and he squeezed my hand lightly for a second then let go. It was funny I was comfortable with Riley not that I wanted to be but it was just natrual for me. "Come on you don't want to see what shana will do if she's kept waiting." I murmur and he nods following me out the door.
